It all boils down to the Dixit factor. A Dixit can never be wrong and while JW is Munni Dixit's personal property he has to go thru hell bcos every Dixit has the right to make JW's life miserable.

Be fair. I would not wish what has happened to bani on my worst enemy but let us take a look at Walia vs. dixit.

1.

Bani had rotten childhood because her mother committed suicide and her father decided to become an alcoholic

JW suffered 7 years of guilt and loneliness because KD decided to commit suicide in front of his car and ND decided to curse JW.

2.

Bani had a rotten start to a marriage and she suffered at the hands of JW. Pia her sister ran away from the mandap of a man who has done nothing but give support to the 3 girls. When he first proposed marriage Pia turned him down and JW went away quietly without applying any pressure. Bani decided to marry JW to protect her sister. (also she is a good human being and did not want JW to be humilated and wanted to keep massi happy)

JW was left to be ridiculed in front of the entire world becaue Pia ran away

Bani decided to save JW's property and proceeded to break him piece by piece so that he would give her a quick divorce (well intentioned) but she butchered the guy. She should have just told him about Jigz and ranveer.

JW on the name of being saved was shattered

4.

Pia decided she wanted JW and so she drugged him and staged a ONS and a pregnancy. Bani is suffering for what Pia started (JW is to blame that he did not tell her about it right away...it's human to try to hide something that will destroy your world)

Jai has lost his family, friends, business and most of all the one person that is the world to him because Pia Dixit decided it was time for her to be Pia Walia.

Now if we look at this Bani has mostly suffered at the hands of her own family while JW for the big crime of knowing the Dixit clan.
