Janamdin Ka Tohfa - Arshi OS 12/July/2013

Arnav had his dinner & walked towards his room because he wanted to plan something for his wife's birthday'But as he heard her footsteps he jumped on the bed & closed his eyes as if he was sleeping'. Khushi once looked at him & then walked towards her side to sleep' After Khushi switched off the lights he slowly opened his eyes & looked at Khushi' Her eyes were closed'So this was the best time to do some planning for his wife'.

Arnav slowly got up from the bed & walked out opening the long French windows & also closed it'. He looked around & smiled remembering last year's birthday celebration' How he fed her cake & what she told him in reply'.. Just in one year everything has changed to a good way'. Their life was beautiful' He walked forward & planned on his mind what he should do' then again he checked his wrist watch & it was 11.30 he took a long sigh & opened the French window once again & came inside' Yet Khushi was a sleep' he walked towards the bed & laid down pulling the bed cover on him'

The clock struck 12 & Arnav opened his eyes & looked at Khushi' she was a sleep' He didn't know what to do' whether to wish her or not' He came close to her & kissed on her cheek then she moved her hand & opened her eyes to see him so close to her' she smiled looking at him so closed'. He moved the short hair which was on her face & caressed her face & came close to her ear'.

"Happy birthday Khushi'" He kissed on her forehead' & she wrapped her hands around his neck pulling him close to her more & more'.

"Thank you Arnav" she kissed on his cheek & smiled looking at his chocolate brown eyes'. Those eyes wanted more kisses but she was shy to continue'

Once Arnav rolled back on to his side he pulled her close to him'. "Khushi remember last year' I was stammering to wish you'" He smiled remembering how he just ended the sentence telling "happy singh" inserted of "Happy birthday"'..

"Of cause I remember'.and also' I made a promise to feed you lot of sweets & to light a mosquito coil on your birthday" She giggled after haunting on those memories'

" I still remember how you washed that hand bag Khushi'." He giggled back looking at her' & she smiled for the thing he was telling'.

"accha' so where is my gift this year'. I'm angry with you until you give me a gift'" Khushi pouted like a baby & turned the other side'.

"Khushi do you really want the gift so soon.." Arnav smirked looking at her' she nodded yes still pouting her rosy lips' Arnav brought his mouth close to her & paused himself without moving anywhere'. As he was too close to her she closed her eye in one go ' still waiting for him to grab her lips' she knew he was teasing her' & she didn't want to miss the chance now' she raised her head forward & grabbed his lower lip inside her mouth & rubbed them with her both lips'. She didn't know why Arnav didn't do the same' she pulled back & looked at him' after she left his lips he smiled widely pulling her'

"Arnav' why are you teasing me like this'" she started hitting on his chest & then moved away giving a fake anger'.

"Khushi it's your birthday' so I thought of teasing you for a change'" Arnav said smirking'

"accha'. Nothing else again'.. Just sleep' & I'm angry with you'" she pulled the bed cover on her & slept'.

*Next day*

Arnav & Khushi was still sleeping' but the other Raizadas had waked up early'. Anjali stood near Arnav's room door with the thali' Nani stood behind Anjali' Mami was checking her make up through the silver door lock'. Arav & NK was discussing about their gifts & trying to find the expensive gift between both of them'Anjali just turned behind "shhh'. Don't talk loud" Mami ignored Anjali & kept on making her beautiful face'. Anjali knocked on the door ' but there was no response for it' she again knocked'. & then sighed'

Arnav opened his eyes after he heard the knock on his door' "Chotte'." Anjali called Arnav' Arnav looked at the clock once & then at the door' "wait Di '" he said & then looked at Khushi' she was still sleeping'. He pulled the bed cover on her & on his slippers & walked towards the door rubbing his eyes'.

"Khushi ji'." Anjali came inside even pushing Arnav' & all the others also did the same' Arnav was like what the' Arav jumped on the bed & sat beside her ma & was waiting till she woke up' for the voices of them she opened her eyes & all of them wished Khushi at once screaming & Arnav squeezed his eyes to avoid the loudness'.

Arav jumped on Khushi & pulled her for a hug'. "Happy Birthday mumma'.this is for you'I hope this is the best gift'." Khushi kissed him on his cheek & took his gift & opened it'. It was a beautiful handmade birthday card & a nice pendent written "mom you are the best" Khushi really had tears after opening her son's gift'

"Thank you Arav'" she kissed him once again'. NK gave her some flowers & a nice bracelet' She got up from the best & made her dupatta & took Nani's blessings' Then Nani gifted her a morthi of devi maiya' Anjali did arti & tied a raksha dhaga on Khushi's hand & Mami also wished.. Payal came & hugged Khushi & then gave her gift as well'. All were happy '. Everyone had a smile on their face'.

"Chotte' did you wish Khushi ji? " Anjali asked knowing her chotte very well' but Arnav looked away not wanting to answer'. Khushi smirked looking at his awkward face'

"Haan Di'. Arnav ji wished me shape at 12'" all of them looked at Arnav & then at Khushi & both of them started blushing'

"Khushiji'. I bet he wished you in a romantic way' isn't it nannav ?" NK commented and Arnav gave an angry stare on him & he quickly brushed his hair with the fingers & the others laughed loud'.

"Khushi ji'. In the evening we will be having a small party'. & this saree is for you" Anjali gave her a red saree which had a gold design on it' Khushi thanked Anjali & all of them rushed out of the room & Arnav quickly closed it before anyone else enters the room'.

As Arnav came towards her she gave a fake angry look & moved to the bathroom taking her towel' but Arnav didn't allow her to lock the door' he kept on pushing the door still she smiled' "Arnav please'. Before Di comes again I should get ready'. Please Arnav'." But Arnav didn't allow her' she quickly kissed his cheeks & he took his hand from the door & touched his cheeks'. Khushi quickly closed the door giggling.. she knew that will surely work to get rid of him '

Arnav had taken a short leave from his work & he came early today' as soon as he came & sat on the sofa HP brought water' & at the same time the doorbell rang & HP opened the door' He took a file & came towards Arnav'. "Arnav bhayya' coffee?" HP placed Arnav's coffee'

"yes' HP what is this file?" Arnav asked'.

"It's for Khushi bhabi'" said HP' & Arnav got the file from him & asked him to'. Arnav opened the file & he was shocked to read the file' he quickly closed & kept inside his laptop bag & walked with the same'.

As soon as he entered the room he saw Khushi getting dressed for her birthday party'. Arnav smirked looking at her though the mirror' he placed the lap top on the bed & hugged her from behind' Khushi smiled looking at her husband & moved away to take her lip stick' Arnav moved out & dialed a number'.

"Akash' Ask Payal to take Khushi out for some time & until I call don't send her up right'." Arnav ordered Akash & he giggled knowing that his bhai was planning a surprise for Khushi' He said ok & cut the call.. The next moment Payal came & dragged Khushi somewhere'. As soon as Khushi left the room Arnav closed the frech windows from out & started decorating the poolside'

Arnav was waiting for Khushi at the room'. He walked here & there'. Then he heard her footsteps & he quickly stood behind the door' as she opened & entered the room he closed it & pulled her towards him'

"So Mrs Raizada you wanted a gift right?" he said while pulling towards him holding her waist' she shyly nodded yes'& then blushed' "Come with me'" Arnav walked towards the poolside holding her hand'.

Khushi was surprised to see how well he had decorated the poolside & she could also see lot of gifts wrapped & placed on a table'. Khushi hugged him & thanked him'. "There is a special gift waiting' coming with me'" He walked with her towards the table & she opened them one by one' the first gift was a new saree' then the next was a set of bangles' a jewelry set' then some more gifts too' now there was black file also' she looked at Arnav & took it'. "Arnav what is this?" Khushi asked before opening the file'. He smirked looking at her'

Khushi opened the file slowly looking at him' once she saw the name "City hospital" she was shocked' she held her chest & started reading it'. So now she was doubled shocked & she quickly hugged Arnav.. & then a tear drop fell down her cheeks'.

"Khushi.. Isn't it the biggest gift on your birthday?" yes nodded yes but still crying'. The tears of happiness'. "On your birthday you made me a father to be'. & you a proud mother to be'" He kissed on her forehead & then he touched her invisible baby'.

Khushi was so happy' she kept her face on his chest to hear his heartbeat & Arnav was hugging her tight'. But they couldn't spend more time like that' Anjali knocked on the door & came inside'. Arnav & Khushi too pulled back from the hug & walked inside the room'

"Khushiji' come down' all are waiting for you.." said Anjali' Khushi nodded yes & walked with Anjali'. Arnav too followed both of them & came to party venue' All of them welcomed the birthday girl & asked her to cut the cake'. Khushi stood in front of the cake & the Guptas & Raizadas stood around the table' Arnav stood close to her'.

Khushi cut the cake & gave the first bite to Arnav'. Arnav too fed her back'. Then she fed Arav'. After that she fed Garima , Buaji, Anjali & everyone'. After the cake cutting was done' Arnav came close to her asked her to tell Anjali about her pregnancy'. But she denied & asked him to tell'. Anjali asked what'..

"Di'. Khushi & me'.. I mean us'. Mmm I don't know di' I don't know how to tell that'" Arnav said feeling awkward at the moment'.

"Chotte.. Tell na' what's the problem?'" Anjali asked.

"Di actually' we both are '. I mean' Di you are'."

"Ohooo chotte' tell soon without stammering'"

"Actully Di you are going to be an aunt'" Arnav said at once' & Anjali was really shocked' she didn't get any word to speak up for few seconds & then she screamed congratulating both of them' the others to wished both of them & started enjoying the party'. Khushi & Arnav too joined & enjoyed the happiness'
