So what actually happens on this day?🤔



All I know is they burn fire and they put some mufliz and reri in it and then ..matha tekde! Why, I dono!

And they eat mufli, reriz and other stuff all night and they dance and sign and sing and sing!😛And people go to other people's houses and ask for lohri! 😃

Yeah, it's fun! 😃



And yes, after Lohri, in some parts of punjab, people celebrate 'Maghi'. According to Hindu beliefs, this is an auspicious day to take a holy dip in the river and give away charity. Sweet dishes (usually kheer) are prepared with sugar cane juice to mark the day.
