There is hindi proverb : Sher bhookha marr jayega lekin ghaas nahi khayega ( A lion does not eat grass, even if it's dying of hunger)

It means for some people, self respect or their standards of behaviour are greater and shall prevail, no matter what the circumstance.

here, it means, Ana's dates are only and only for jeet, even if she has nothing else to do.

so...not eating grassing, only jeet looking looking.
