What a "cul-de-sac" this is...what does one do when every individual has his or her own stance and if one were to see through their they are doing what they deem right...
RK : He had put his father on his pedestal...so naturally his suicide was something he could never come to terms with and now that he has...the pedestal on which he has put his father seems to have been shaken by Sultan and his claim...it's this fear that is making him behave so rashly irrespective of right or wrong...anyways RK has never been the one to think before leaping...
Radhaji : Like Sultan has accurately sense that she happens to be aware of her husband's misdemeanor...and it's this awareness that has made her empathize with Sultan and his mother...yet, like most women she doesn't want to see her dead husband's name to be sullied by this truth coming out...as she is well aware that one day or the other if Sultan persists in his endeavor it's bound to come out...another reason I feel is that she is doing it for RK...as she has seen what her son had become after her husbands death...a mistrustful, embittered and cynical human being..."All a child's life depends on the ideal it has of its parents. Destroy that and everything goes - morals, behavior, everything..." ( E.M. Forster)...and now that she has found her son back, she doesn't want him revert to his old self...
Sultan : It's his unshakable belief in his mother is what makes him more resolute to fight for his mother's right and honor...
Madhu : She is miffed with RK for having used her to get back at Sultan and rightly so...She is torn between what she wants to believe and what she perceives...She wants her family to be at peace and for that she would like Sultan's claims to be proven wrong...but deep in her heart of hearts she is afraid that his claim might turn out to be true...

Rishbala's disagreement : Madhu confronting RK and accusing him of having used her...while RK averring that he expected his wife's support and understanding in having used her to get back at Sultan...this is so like self-centered RK, isn't it, always thinking about himself and his expectations to be met...Never have we seen him understand or empathize with Madhu...

Sultan moving in RK mansion forcibly : now this act of Sultan, for whatever reason, is something that has not appealed to me at all...I felt that to get his mother her due right, there's no need implant himself and her in their house...as of now I won't jump to conclusions and will wait and see this act of his followed by events that justify or lend credibility to it...
