oh! thank you enlightened one for showing us the way! but its quite obvious that depending on the culture the term for the attire varies...also, it IS called a SHALWAR. that is the proper term. it has changed over time perhaps in India, but not in Pakistan where t is the traditional/cultural garb.

Pajama is a trouser, which can be something like a chooridar for men. lol that sounds bad, but yeah, that dress saif wears alot would be called a kurta pajama.

look up shalwar, the history of it is very interesting.

and plus, wouldnt this tarnish his image as a "romantic hero"? i dont think people will find anything romantic about him leaving his wife, with whom he has 2 kids and a possible third coming up, for "another" woman.
