Asad is a person
I dont have words to describe the emotional damage such a back stabbing incident can cause to a person like Asad who is so fragile in the inside...
Who has only trusted three people in this world this far. Or four. His mom, his sister, Ayaan and Tanveer...
Who is ready to disqualify the misunderstanding (in his eyes) of the love of his life, Zoya to fight for Tanu who he thinks is going through a tough time...
Let Tanu stay in his home, when she was going through the supposed worst time of her life - accident, burning down of the factory, divorce and its after maths...
Has not dared to love 30 or so years of his life because he fears that he will do to his love what his mother had to endure at the hands of his father...
Has denied himself numerous smiles, because of this fear...
Has resisted his love for Zoya (or atleast tried to)...
Didn't care about his own wedding getting delayed, but ran to save Tanu who was being attacked...
I know we all hate Asad for a lot of this, but from his point of view, he has always helped people. Even when he was not in love with Zoya, he helped her out everytime she needed help. Its a different thing that she being the lead, we loved those Mitwa moments... Just think of it, for once if we forget what Tanu is doing really, but believe the story she has woven for Asad, he is indeed just being a human being. A very good human being.
We know Asad has not trusted Zoya's fears... But, we know that it is his nature. He is very rigid. He does not believe in grays, and things are black and white for him.He neither trusts people easily, nor mistrusts those he trusts either.
But what a friend Tanveer is! Forget what she did to Zoya for a second...
But for her own selfish interest what all she let her best friend endure?
1. Burn down his house
2. Be attacked by a peanut allergy reaction, despite knowing from childhood that he could have potentially died from it just to further Razia's motives
3. Deprive him of the true love of his life
4. And, make the worst fear of his life come true
Again, and again, I repeat, irrespective of whether he is at fault or not, for a person as emotionally challenged as Asad, this is like a recipe for a nervous breakdown. I dont see a person forgive himself so easily for such a sin... The consequences on the psyche of Asad (more than Zoya) for this incident can be deep. Very deep.
Even if it is proved later that he did not have an SR with Tanveer, just the fact that he trusted her over his love Zoya, means he indeed is a Rashid Khan who does not know his priorities right...

We know that Asad wont let Tanu out of the Khan mansion even now... somewhere he still sees her as the innocent bholi friend. I said in my post yesterday as well, ASad was drugged and hit, what on earth was Tanveer doing? She could not stop Asad from doing what he was supposedly doing? She could not call police for help? Family? No, she chose to stay there, and bed him, and wait till Zoya came. And then she has the guts to go back home with him. Ofcourse, she put the blame on him. HE is the one who was framed (like Rashid) but he is theone who is made out to be the rapist here... Do you realize the guilt that he can feel for doing this to his love for one, and his best friend who he thinks is going through so much, for two?
What a witch of a woman is Tanveer, what a friend... She not even for once thought of the bond that she and Jammy have shared in the past... but has chosen to let her friend go through this trauma... just for her selfish purposes...
As much as my heart cries for Zoya, it also cries for Asad... not because of anything else, but because of the fact that all of Dilshaad's encouragement for him to love, all of Zoya's efforts are washed out in one go.. I am sure Asad must be cursing himself for ruining Zoya's life, and for falling in love in the first place... I am sure he must have said to himself, is se achha to main tab tha jab mere dil mein seena nahi pathar tha...
