look no matter how much romanticized, power and money play a very very important part in a story, reel or real life. and swayam's dad is just being practical. To say the truth even in swayam's case, had he been just like his dad wants, sharon would had confessed much b4.

its difficult for a kid to talk to parent like that , i know its dad s responsibility to see that swayam s happy but...sometimes adults make mistakes too and swayams dad s mistakes arent too huge till now is what i said.

when swayam's dad called him to conference he was happy and it felt like he wanted to go with him then came the taunt thats why he refused. Swayam is man of actions than words ...cant his father see that. and about watching him dance are you talking about NDC elims ...he had no problem his father being there but he went to him becos rey wasnt able to participate... yes he would have been nervous and all...but he did not go only for himself he went for rey and team
swayams dad may be a nice guy an achiever but his spoilt realtionship is not swayams fault its his fault and he should rectify it swayam cant do anything about it becos if he even says or does something his father starts taunting him ... I know Mr shikhawat will realise his son's true worth and the end of the track 😊

and why cant i like swayams dad. he s typical and why shudnt swayam backanswer his dad when his dad is wrong? and just bcoz someones wrong u dont stay away from them, u stay closer to make them understand ur POV. swayam has done that with sharon successfully , he can surely make his dad understand

Okay not really following the show, but honestly from what I'd seen of him, I loved his character...there are couple of things I dislike about him, but overall he is awesome.

He is an achiever, and works practically, thinks practically, and I don't think that he does not consider relationships secondary to him. His relationship with taani, though she is not her daughter, proves that. It's quite impossible in today's world that someone else would take care like this.

And moreover his treatment to swayam, unconsciously or subconsciously every parents want their offspring to carry their legacy, to fulfill what they couldn't and if they achieved a lot, they want that they kids will do much more than them.

His dislike for dance...has two reasons. First, their mentality, all characters...in d3 are deeply patriarchal and conservative. Shekhawat family leads in that. first of all being a dancer isn't that exactly powerful impressive persona, which would fit into a masculine stereotype perfectionist guy, that guy should be with abs and toned physique, winning spirit, impulsive, aggressive, and in some field like business, or somewhere where his command works.

Another thing is definitely practical, being a dancer satisfies swayam, but the lifestyle they are used to, that's different. Okay swayam uses cycle, but otherwise... everything is luxurious, absolutely rich, and a fact, you can never ever compare a dancer and a corporate world guy in terms of power and money

Priya I didn't say that nothing else matters except power and money. We are human beings and emotions are a inseparable part of us.

And Micheal jackson..he's a dancer plus singer, he's extremely rich, however two things i'd like to say first of all in western world artists are paid much. in india, only actors, even actors can't rise to that super rich standard, until they are in business too. Moreover in the show, Sharon and rey are supposed to be the kids of business tycoons... nd mr. shekhawat helds up a lot of reputation. and i would still say this...Micheal Jackson too doesn't have any competition with Bill gates, warren buffet, or any business tycoons...No. moreover whenever they has to use their power, it's their parent's...so...i hope you would had got my point.
