It can be so too as the CV's have kept them apart for too long and now although they have promoted their reunion, viewers are still waiting in limbo to see it actually happen. A few arvi scenes were shown - yes but no signs really of their reunion.

the viewers can be "show fans" or "character fans"...CVs are not only ruining the character they are ruining the show itself...

Yes, thats the reason. Basically viewers want to see positive things and loving couples together instead of separated by unwanted 3rd parties! That is why PR is getting low TRPs for last many months because of continued ArVi separation and stupid melodrama. When ArVi are reunited, and Manav accepts Soham, and all the kids are happy in their own lives, people will start watching again.
