Whats the point, they will butcher the issue as usual. Like they have butchered every other social issue in the show.

It’s time to stop wasting time on this disaster of a show. The writers have clearly abandoned even the idea of 'Women Empowerment.' The female lead isn’t just failing the show — she is its biggest villain and the official poster child of hypocrisy.

That Adhik and Pakhi case was hilarious.. Social issue of Domestic violence on women and men dealt with the help of same couple... Greedy, angry and an idiot Pakhi got married to Adhik. Few days into the marriage she shouted on him, mentally and physically tortured him, was about to file a fake case on him until Barkha intervened... Just after this matter was put to rest, one fine day Adhik, for whatever reason woke up an alpha male (or whatever we can call it) in him and started slapping Pakhi for reasons best known to him.. So an aggressive Pakhi flips into a docile 'pativrata' girl who out of 'manipulation' and 'societal conditioning' kept her mouth sealed.. As if society conditions you to shout & throw things hurting your husband... Then she goes on to declare that she is saving her married life just like Anupamaa tried her best to save her married life with Anuj.. Indirectly she compares abusive Adhik with Anuj, completely ignoring that the amount of effort Anupamaa put in her marriage was inversely proportional to the effort she put to keep her position secure in her biological father's life and his family.. Then again these devil incarnates flip.. Adhik decides to leave behind his abusive, slapping, hitting ways and turn into a good husband.. So Pakhi decides this to be the correct time to adopt a child with him & divorce him, without sharing the custody with him.. So Adhik who was previously slapping and strangulating Pakhi, concludes that that there are no laws for men and society does not listen to them.. Thereafter giving a few deadly looks to Vanraj Shah along with his new found friend Titu, he vanished into thin air, forgetting about his ex wife and adopted child.. Few days later Titu followed suit and he too vanished..

This is how serious they are about any social issue whether it concerns a woman or a man.. woman ka to khair chod hi do..

Anupama slaps Dimpy in the Shah House and then lectures Pakhi not to accept violence. She should have been punished for that slap. Her hypocrisy is impossible to miss.

Toshu’s cheating comes out during Pari’s naming ceremony. Kinjal herself decides to slap the divorce papers in Toshu’s face — the only right move. Anupama finally supports her decision, but only after the fact. She never guides, never stands firm, just watches.

Later, Toshu abducts Pari. Kinjal wants him arrested, but Vanraj protects his favourite son. Toshu plays his usual drama. And Anupama? Instead of guiding Kinjal to follow through with her decision to divorce Toshu, Anupama leaves the choice of slapping the divorce papers in his face entirely to Kinjal — abandoning her when guidance was needed most.. Kinjal’s life is ruined — and Anupama couldn’t care less. Not a thought, not a word, not a hint of responsibility.

Now Kapil faces Sruthi’s domestic violence — and Anupama has the nerve to act like his saviour. After destroying Kinjal’s life with her selfish inaction, she steps in for someone else, pretending to be moral. She remembers ethics only when it suits her.

Anupama is a hypocrite in its purest form. Every word she speaks, every lesson she preaches, is a lie. She claims morality but leaves destruction behind.
