Television and films will give you name and fame, but sometimes, it will also introduce you to a perilous side. Well, we are talking about fanatic fans, who at times cross limits and create troubles for their favourite stars.
Beautiful and talented Kratika Sengar (Zee TV's Punar Vivah season 1), recently faced a similar experience.
A few days back we saw a tweet by Kratika which read, "I ve no clue about deepika malhotra's existence."
Wondering what it meant, we got to work and soon found out that apparently Kratika was referring to an obsessive fan of hers. Our source says that apparently the fan, named Deepika Malhotra, is claiming on social media that she is Kratika's cousin and even went on to abuse the actress.
We called up Kratika to learn more on the story and she shared, "Yes, a certain fan is spreading false news about me. Hence I made it a point to clear the air in the above tweet. I also wish to inform my fans that I am not on Facebook, but only on Twitter."
Another khabru added more spice to the matter by saying that Deepika is really a big fan of Gurmeet Choudhary (Kratika's co star in Punar Vivah season 1) and she gets jealous when Gurmeet romances actresses on screen. Apparently, she is the same fan who went on to talk negative about Drashti Dhami too (Gurmeet and Drashti worked in Star One's Geet).
Well, all we can say is that fame has many sides, and the above instance is one of them. But fans, we believe you all should love and respect your favourite stars, but never go over board to cause them harm.
