Suta Goswami replied to the Rishis:
Mahadev looked compassionately at his Ansh, his babbling, confused, deviated Ansh.
"Jalandhar," he said, "I shall answer each of your questions through my own questions. Tell me, my Ansh, has the product ever been different from its source? Then how can I be separate from you? I was with you in your entire journey. Tell me, how do you think my krodhagni was transported to the sea safely? You say I am all knowing and residing everywhere. Then you must realise that I have never left you. I walked your entire life with you. How do you think you got the protection of Matsyakanya? When you were just a foetus in the sea?
"When Indra had killed your mother, and you were alone and forsaken, why did Shukracharya come there? How did he take you under his protection? When Indra tried to send you into a coma, didn't Vrinda appear in the nick of time? How did that happen?
"No one can understand the movement of Time. Even Yugas are a little time to understand the Great Time. I have never forsaken you. Your ego is the only obstacle to you knowing me. In a myriad of forms, yes, but I never left your side even once. There was no need to put my hand on your head as you never left my lap. In the war, when you were hit, I bore the pain. When you fell, I got bruised. This war was My Krodhagni's Karma Yuddha. I lived with you and I die with you. I am everything. And what is not present, I am that. The blood that flows from you is me.
"Waves are parts of the sea. They too have Happiness and Sorrow. BUt their Happiness and Sorrow is the same as that of the Sea, as the waves are, in truth, nothing but the sea. They are the Anshas of the sea, not its Vikalpa. In the same way, you are my Ansh, and it is time for my Ansh to come back to me; it is time for Shivaansh to begin a new journey!"
"And no Aatmaa's journey is fulfilled without feedom from burden." said Shukracharya. "Whatever things you have said and done to me, I free you from the burden of them all. Farewell, Ansh. Begin your journey to the Origin."
Parvati, the eternal Prakriti looked at Jalandhar. "The sins which you have committed are unforgivable. But since you have experienced the fruits of your Karma, your sins have burnt. YOu are free, Jalandhar. Begin your journey of Supreme Victory, your Jayayatra!"
Jalandhar was stunned. He looked at Shiva. "Concentrate on me Jalandhar," said Mahadev tearfully.
Jalandhar saw, with a tearful expression, that his mother and Vrinda were both waiting for him. He saw them within Mahadev. He saw his destination. A tear rolled down his cheek. He cried, "Maa!"
His body burst into flames! As the journey had begun, he changed and became a ball of fire. Mahadev opened his third eye, and with great compassion, merged his krodhagni back into himself.

From which Great Fire of Shiva Jalandhar's birth had taken place long ago, into That Great Fire his Atman merged and became One.
Suta completed his story and said the fruits of the story.
"Those who read this story with utmost devotion shall obtain the same result that was obtained by Jalandhar, the Ansha of Mahadev. Just like his sins were burned into ashes, theirs too shall and they too shall obtain Shivaloka and Parvati Mata's and Shiva's eternal grace."
Saunakadi Rishis thanked Suta for narrating the story.
(The Sloka and Phalasruti are my own. Please don't take it as a real sloka and chant it. It is just for narration purpose.)
Thank you all for giving me this opportunity to narrate the Jalandhar Charitra according to DKDM. 😆 (it is not actually a "Charitra". They have made it into one. So I am just going by that.)
