Well, I have stopped discussing on this topic since I myself never got answers for the same. And its not just Kratika who was bashed but the so-called loyal fans of Gurmeet didnt fail to bash and using abusing language for their own fav star...

It hurted me a lot when I used to read the comments (Thankfully I never read much of the comments since I was unaware of IF or any other sites. but whatever I had read was heart rendering for me)

So, I dont know where this discussion will lead to. If someone would answer these questions then even I will be glad...

Actually,I wondered the same since last time.. I had no idea who was GC at all before PV and I only knew KS from JKR and it was only because of her I started watching PV..So when I heard that KS recieved so much of bashing from fan groups,I was just so shocked and I frankly did not understand why ppl would comment such bad stuffs about her(from her physical looks to her characteristics🤢)

But now after a year of watching Pv etc,I kind of formed my own theory as to why our PV and KS got so much negativity..

My POV is that mostly serials are watched by girls,and I assume girls enjoy this Mills and Boons type of show(I think GC previous show was like that) so the fans got sooo attached to the characters esp the male character since he was like this ideal man(I dont know,I never watched it before,just guessing from what I know😆) and the fans became realllyyy possessive for the male character that they started to forget the lines between real and reel..and the fact the the previous characters were merely just characters were forgotten...So they see GC as his previous character and only want to see him with his previous co star...

And I think it is quite normal that girls are possessive😆...so I guess once the show ended,the fans did not want to see their hero with anyone else except for their heroine thus leading to all the bashing and stuff... In a way,I understand the fans emotion...😊... For eg,even me,if GC does another new show with a new actress I dont think I can watch it because Im soo used to seeing him and KS together..Thats purely my choice but of course I wont go and bash the new actress😆 because at the end of the day GC,KS and everyone are actors.Their job is to act😛.Same goes to KS,I dont know if I can bring myself to watch her with another actor...But thats purely my POV😳

As to why GC's previous costar's current costar not receiving same treatment like KS,Im assuming the actor himself was already famous among the girls so GC's previous costar's fans easily accepted him..Besides,they want the best for their favourite actress maybe?..I dont know..😆... And I think in this internet world,there is this assumption that KS is a newcomer because I dont think the fanbase of Mills and Boons will usually watch periodical drama like JKR(I might be wrong)...But I feel the real world and the virtual world are quite different because I know for a fact in my country,many ppl dont know GC or his previous shows(except ramayan)..Actually even my friends think he is a newcomer😆...So that goes to show how different things are seen in the internet and real life.For me,this bashing and stuff is only done by emotional fans of the internet and generally TRP audience dont really care about all this...

Oops,that became tooo long...I hope I answered ur queries...😳...And yeah I hope I did not go too off the tangent and broke any rules of IF...sorry if I did...

To be frank I was more a fan of KS than GC when I started watching pv and felt too bad that some so called fan started bashing KS. And I don't think they r fan of GC. They r fan of maan and geet but not really loyal fan of GC. And who were loyal fan of GC they gave KS a chance.

So let's say some fans showed immaturity & some move on maturely .

And people not bashing VD - may be because he himself was famous in girls.
Where KS had done very different show and was never seen as bahu type role so people could only see her as warrior not as normal girl or bahu.
But let's forget now all these as ks's work has proved how capable she is.
Let's be happy that our KS took this positively and it left positive impact on ks's work.

Yup KS was not Acted in Mills and Boons Story so She may be Newcomer for Many...!!
Obviously I too Respect Fans emotional and their Desire to See their Favs in TV screen...
