I guess we should discuss about how strongly and positively Gurmeet and Kratika have handled the situation and bashing. It must have hurt them but they took it so positively...

And regarding possessive fans, I am a Maaneet fan too but more of a Gurmeetian. But, I never saw a reason to bash or say bad about Kratika. Regarding his ex-co actress being bashed well, I dont actually know about that because whenever I have read I have read bad about only Gurmeet and Kratika... May be my lack of knowledge here...

Chalo chhaddo, mitti payo un saari bashing par... I am so proud that both Gurmeet and Kratika emerged winners and proved their mettle when it comes to acting and they proved the bashers that how strong they are as individuals...

fans of mills and boon shows have a tendency to cross the line between reel and real... we have seen that in most top shows of IF... they become hyper possessive and highly delusional about the characters and forget that the person playing the character is very different in real life... gurmeet and his wife bore the brunt when his previous show was on air and they still do... when gurmeet took up pv unfortunately these people found another person to target that is kratika... it's sad but i'm impressed with the way all 3 of them have handled bashing and abuse... my respect!!
as for ur question it seems gurmeet's character and his performance had a greater impact on these people hence him and and the people around him have had to face more trouble from the delusional folks than the other person...

Gurmeet's previous show was a Mills and Boons kind of a love story, which attracted fans who were mostly obsessive and immatured ( mind u, not merely teenage, but sadly age has nothing to do with maturity often!) . These people were so much in awe of Gurmeet's acting that they forgot that he was acting as MSK, and wanted him to be MSK in real life instead of Gurmeet Choudhary ! When that didn't happen, they blamed Gurmeet, his wife Debina, and then Kratika, who was never related to all this ! These people r mindless bashers, who obsess about a fictional pair day night, and treat it with greater importance than real people ! They forget that for fictional characters they r insulting human beings...Gurmeet, Debina and Kratika might be celebs , but lets not forget that they are human beings too!

First of all though the topic is a good topic to discuss , PV forum is not the place to debate .Debate mansion would suit this broad topic better.You would get more objective and diverse POV. In here We prefer one sticks to show discussion than dissecting fangroups behavior or members POV. This invariably leads to member attacks which we frown upon

Why some leads are bashed and some are not depends on the fan groups. It is generally observed , Mills & Boon type shows/their leads have extreme fan groups.
