Part 12:

On the terrace, everyone was chit-chatting while enjoying the food that they cooked.

Najma: wow Awsome! I didn't know that you guys could cook that well!

DS: haan! Tum dono ne toh mujhe bhi beat kar diya!

Asad: ammi. Yeh sab zoya ne banaya hai I just help a little. Thora sa meetha dala ander.

Zoya blushed when she heard him saying that he just added the sugar in it since he was referring to their sweet moment.

Zoya: kuch zada meetha nahi hogaya?

Asad: mujhe toh kam laga. I thought we should add more.

Asad whisper to zoya: don't forget you still have a dare.

Zoya: what dare?

Asad: mujhe kheer kilao sabke samne.

Zoya: woh... mein' tumein'

Asad: No excuses! You have to do it.

Dilashad notices them whispering to eachother.

DS: asad zoya stop it! Yeh humara family time toh tum dono ko kaam ke bare mein baath nahi karni chiaye. Waise bhi kal tum dono ko office jana hai tab kar lena.

Zoya: who mein kya khe rahi thi puphi ke meine kheer itne pyaar se banai hai toh mein chati hoon ke mein utne hi pyaar se sab ko kilaon.

Najma: sure why not zoya! Pehle mujhe!

Zoya: ofcourse tamatar!

Zoya feed each and every one of them and it was asad's turn now. She set beside him and spoon-fed him. After she fed him, they sat there looking intently into each others eyes which were not overlooked by the rest.

Aryan: aham aham

As soon as they heard him, they broke the stare and become aware of the rest staring at them. Everyone carried on with their eating and played little games like truth and dare. It was 7 as displayed by the clock, Aryan left for his home while the rest retired back to the hall leaving all the cleaning to be done by asad and zoya as their punishment.

Zoya: im tired!

Asad: tum rest karo mein safai karta hoon

Zoya: nahi asad its okay.

Asad: ap ne khana banaya and now it's my turn to clean.

Zoya: okay as you say'

She sat down on the chair while asad was cleaning. She sat there for a while and got bored.She remembers how he disturbed her while she was cooking now it was her turn; she had to do vice-versa. She got up and stood on the chair. As soon as asad turned his backside, she jumped on his back.

Asad: omg zoya! You scared the hell out of me! What are you doing?

She didn't reply him instead she placed a kiss on his cheek.

Asad: zoya im cleaning

Zoya: so?

Asad: you are distracting me

Zoya: tab apko nahi yaad aiya that I would be distracted when I was cooking?

Asad: oh toh app revenage le rahi hain?

Zoya: well you can say that.

Asad: wait till I get my revenge!

She let go of him and stood infront of him.

Zoya: oh really? What can you do?

He didn't reply her instead he took the broom and placed it aside and started pacing towards her. He gave his utfamous "watch out" look.

Zoya: no asad! No!

She stared running around while he chased after her. He rushes after her and picked her up from the back and begins spinning her in the air.

Zoya: haha'Asad. Choro mujhe...chakar a rahe hain

He didn't let go of her instead spin her faster than before.

Zoya: please asad.

He was spinning her until he detects a figure watching them with a smile. He quickly made her stand on the floor and stood properly.

Asad: ammi woh... Actually hum kaam- nahi I mean safai kar rahe the aur zoya- zoya

He had no idea what should he do; no excuse was coming to his mind. He slightly hit her arm with his wishing she could answer for him.

Zoya: haan puphi woh' jaise hi hum safai ke rahe the toh mein- mein urne wali thi toh mr.khan ne mujhe pakad liya.

Asad put his hand on his forehead cursing zoya for giving such lame excuse.

DS: haan ajj waise typhoon hai na islye zoya ur rahe thi, nai asad?

Asad: woh'.

DS: tum dono jao rest karo, mein kar loongi.

And they left obeying dilashaad. When Asad went inside his room, he saw ray working on his laptop which had 'Rehmaan' written on it. He was quite curious about rehmaan after what happened today so he decided to ask him some questions to see if he can have any clue.

Asad: i've never asked you but what do you do?
Rey: i... I do many things.
Asad: what i meant was what your profession is?
Ray: my answer is still the same. I do many things in the form of profession.

They kept staring at each other not being satisfied with the small question and answer section between them. They then heard a knock on the door which interrupted their stare.

Rey: hey zee.
Zoya: hey rey
Rey: kuch chaiye?
Zoya: well, not really. I just wanted to ask if u r fine here or else tum mere kamre mein shift ho sakte ho Rey: thanks zee but im fine in my hottie's room. Im pretty sure woh mind nahi karenge.
Asad: oh not at all.
Zoya: okay then see you both down there.

By observing their conversation, one thing that asad figured out was the behavior of rehmaan. When he is in front of others, he called asad hottie but when they are alone, asad's precense didnt really matter to him. It's like he is not interested at all.

Rey: what are you staring at?
Asad: nothing

Asad went in to the washroom to get changed and rehmaan carried on with his work.When asad came out of the washroom, he saw rehmaan near the window talking on the phone. He walked towards his wardrobe to hang his clothes but his eyes suddenly set on rehmaan's laptop. There was a file named zoya which was opened. There was a picture of zoya on the side bar and basic information of her such as her name, age, parents name and her collage name.

As soon as he saw rehmaan cut the phone, he turned back to wardrobe and positions his clothes. Rehmaan's behaviour left him confused thus, he just couldnt brush the thought away. He kept thinking why he had zoya's information in spite of being her friend for god knows how long.

He went down for their family talk time and saw everyone sitting on the dining table. Thought he was sitting with them but his mind was thinking about rey- why he had such file? He was all lost in his thought until he felt someone kick his leg. He looked up and notices everyone staring at him.
Asad: what?
DS: kabse bula rahi hoon asad. Kahan khoye hue ho?
Asad: kaam ke bare mein soch raha tha ammi...
DS: baad mein sochna ... abhi batein karo...
Asad: okay ammi

Everyone went back to talks when asad felt someone's kick once again.

Asad and zoya whispering
Zoya: kya hua asad? App kissi ke bare mein soch rahe hain?
Asad: ya. Rehmaan ke bare mein.
Zoya: what?!

She stood up in shock not believing what she heard. Mr.khan was thinking about rehmaan that means he is interested in rey which means he might not be straight. She had to clear this up.

Everone looked at her as she stood.
DS: kya hua zoya?
Asad: ammi woh kal humari important meeting hai aur inho ne abhi tak presentation ready nahi banyi. Isliye chonk gayi, right zoya?
Zoya: yeh puhpi
DS: oho tum dono humesha kaam ke bare mein hi kiu sochte rehte ho?
Asad: sorry ammi

It was the time to sleep, asad and rehmaan slept together since rehmaan was not willing to sleep on the couch. Rehmaan has already slept while asad was wide awakened. Rey placed his leg on asad's leg and his arm around asad tightly. He kept tossing and turning. When asad closed his eyes, he felt someone's hand grabbed his wrist and lead him towards the balcony. He was about to shout at the person but he felt a hand on his mouth.

Zoya: shhh! It's me asad'
Asad: zoya yeh kya hai?
Zoya: app rehmaan ke saath chipak ke kiu soh rahe the?
Asad: what?! Mein uske saath chipak nahi raha tha. Woh aise hi sota hai.
Zoya: app jante hi kitna hain usse? Kuch raatein uske saath spand karke app ko lagta app usse jante hain?

He didnt understand why she was reacting like this. Rehmaan was just a normal guy that too her friend.

Zoya: aur app dinner ke waqt kya keh rahe the asad? Rehmaan ke barre mein soch raha hoon! Are you interested in him? App straight hain Na mr.khan?
Asad: what is wrong with you zoya? Obviously mein straight hoon. Rehmaan is a guy so is mein kya galt hai agar hum bed share Karen?
Zoya: galt hai mr.khan! Shaid apko maalum na ho par rehmaan is not a normal guy. He is gay! He is interested in guys!
Asad: what?! Rehmaan is gay?
Zoya: yes mr.khan. Warna woh bewaja apko hottie kiu bulate. Yeh khabi socha app ne?

He then understood why she was reacting like this. Even thought he didn't believe in rehmaan being gay but he was pleased knowing that she was jealous of rehmaan drooling over him. She was afraid of him being attracted to rehmaan.

Asad: oh woh actually...

She was about to leave out of anger when asad held her wrist and pulled her towards himself which made her hit his tough chest. He took the opportunity and sneaked his arms around her waist pulling her more closely.

Asad: why are you acting like this zoya? Are you jealous?
Zoya: jealous hogi meri jooti! I just don't want rehmaan to get the wrong idea. It will break his heart when he will find out that u r not interested in him. So i wanted to confirm that's it.

Asad: woh bhi hai. Uska dil toh toote ga so how about i tell him that i'm interested in him? Phir toh uska dil nahi toote ga... Infect mein abhi jata hoon'

Before he could leave, she quickly wrapped her arms around his neck prohibiting him from leaving.

Zoya: no! Don't!
Asad: why?
Zoya: kiu ke...
Asad: tell me zoya.
Zoya: kiu ke humein khabi kissi se jooth nahi bolna chaiye.
Asad: oh really? Phir toh mujhe bhi sach jaane ka haq hai ...
Zoya: konsa sach?
Asad: were you jealous?

Zoya: who toh mein'

Asad: batao zoya. Were you sceard that i might have been intrested in rehmaan? Were you jealous?
Zoya: aisi koi baath nahi hai...
Asad: toh kaise baath hai?
Zoya: let me go asad. Koi ah jaiga.
Asad: if you were that sceard of being caught toh mujhe yahan keench ke kiu lai?
Zoya: woh... Actually...
Asad: 'woh actually' ke agge bhi kuch lafz hote hain ms.farooqi.
Zoya: mujhe jaane do na Mr.khan
Asad: fine! agar ap aise jaane ke baath karti rahi toh mein naraz ho jaonga.
Zoya: toh mein tummein- i mean apko manaaa loon gi..
Asad: why did you change from tummein to apko?
Zoya: woh mujhe laga ke apko-
Asad: i would have preferred you calling me tum
Zoya: kiu?
Asad: apna sa lagta hai...

She was taken aback by his respond. Lately, he has been acting all flirty and outlandish. He didnt underatand why was he acting like this but just being in close proximity to her made him go out of control.

Asad: zoya
Zoya: what now? Look i dont want to answer any of your jealousy questions kiu ke mein-
Asad: i love you
zoya: what?
Asad: pehle baar jab meinne apko office mein dekha toh i was masmerized by your beauty. Tab se i can't stop thinking about you. I get jealous when you talk to Aryan or any other guy because i want you to be mine- only mine. I don't why but jab bhi apke paas hota hoon toh I can't control myself. I guess you could call it a love at first sight. Technially dekha jai toh mein jaanta hoon ke app bhi mujhse mohabat karti hain per mein apko zabaan se woh teen lafz suna chata hoon. Mujhe abhi jawab nahi chaiye because I know you need time. I will wait until you are ready to tell me.

She was shocked by his confession though she was aware of the fact that asad loves her but he proposed her so suddenly which made her surprised. No doubt she loves him too but it was the least thing that she expected from him.

When the moonlight shone on zoya's lips, all he wanted at that instant second was to seal her lips with his. Without having any further consideration, his hands those were placed on her wrist draws her nearer and he leaned in to attack on her lips.

Although she's always stunned by his sudden actions, she had to admit that he is a good-kisser. His lips were so soft and tender. She moved her hands to his shoulders, then around his neck and responded with the equal enthusiasm. When she back out to suck in the air, his tongue moved into her mouth. He kissed her jaw line, moving to her neck and he bit her neck tenderly, caring not to leave the kiss mark while she was receiving pleasure from it. The kiss became more affectionate with every minute. He kissed her as if nothing else exists in the world besides them, as if he is enfolded up in that period of time. Trailing his tongue along her jaw line before kissing her neck over and over, she let out a groan when he sealed his lips with hers once again. She moaned against his lips when she felt his fingers touch the soft skin of her lower back and his hand slipped under her kurta and preceding more near. Although her backside hit the wall, they didn't bring an end to the kiss untill they perceive a loud sound which seemed as if a glass broke into pieces.

The draw their faces back from each others though their arms were still resting in their positions.

Zoya: what was that?
Asad: pata nahi. Aisa laga jaise glass toot Gaya ho.
Zoya: let's take a look.

Asad didint wanted to check out the broken glass; he had better things to do like kissing his zoya. Even if he hug her or kiss her countless times, he just couldnt get enough of it. In his mind; he was cursing the person who broke the glass for interrupting their passionate moment.

Asad: okay chalo dekh lete hain.

She looked at him as he held her hand.

Asad: what? Apne khud kaha tha ke apko andere mein dhar lagta hai.

She was quite happy hearing that because it showed that he noted every little thing about her. As they went inside, further away from the balcony, thy saw a glass broken into pieces in the kitchen but noone was there.

Zoya: asad
Asad: hmm?
Zoya: glass toot Gaya...
Asad: zoya
Zoya: hmm?
Asad: dekhai de raha hai mujhe
Zoya: no, what i meant was ke if no one is here toh glass kaise toota?

Asad: i dont know...
Zoya: come on asad yeh tummara ghar hai' tummein iski hifazat karni chaiye.
Asad: i've stored the surveillance cameras in the house par khabi kaam nahi aiye.
Zoya: ajj kaam a jaienge.Chalo.

They proceed towards asad's room to get his laptop and saw rey sleeping soundlessly. They took the laptop outside and sat on the sofa in the hall. As soon as the played the recording, they saw themselves kissing on balcony. They both turned crimson in embarrassment but what caught zoya's sudden attention was a male figure in the background.
