I am sure someone must have made a post and defended Asad using this bit of fact ...
My intension of making this post is different. So Let me try and make my point.
In the 3rd or 4th Episode of Qubool Hai when Zoya's Aapi and Jeeju were still arguing if she should stay back in India, Aapi said what if she finds all the truth? Would she be able to face the demons of her past? I twas clear then and there that Aapi and Jeeju knew the truth of Zoya''s past.
Now we know with the time what the truth is:Zoya being an illegitimate child of gaffur Siddiqui and his second love - Zoya's mom. We now know that Zoya's mother died a terrible death at the hands of Razia and Razia covered it up with the Doll Factory Fire which Rashid has set, on Razia's instruction and that Zoya was right there and had witnessed it all , a horrific experience that has scarred her for life. She even has nightmares about it!
As of now, only Raziya, Tanveer and viewers know the entire truth. For all others Truth differs.
Gaffur Siddiqui knows everything else but the fact that Zoya is his daughter.
Rashid knows only that a lady died unintensionally in the fire that he set...Does not know anything else.
Zoya's aapi and Jeeju know that Zoya's mom died in a fire and that Zoya had to see it as a young child. They might know who her father is. Only time will tell if they do.
For all the rest, there is no knowledge of the murder comitted by Razia, They know nothing about Zoya's parents and past. In fact now they believe that Zoya's father is no more.
There is only one common factor that they ALL know. There was a fire set to the Doll Factory 17 years back. And that someone died there that night. And they believe that the fire killed the person.
The precap for today's episode shows that the fact of Zoya's mom dying in a Fire and Zoya witnessing it as a child, is revealed to Asad.
In the 26th February Episode Zoya had confided about her nightmares and her not even remembering her parents to Asad. But then she had said nothing about her mother's tragic death. In fact I saw the episode right before making this post and I know that she said she does not know why she has these nightmares often. She does not remember or know from Aapi and Jeeju about any such incidence!
So in today's episode Asad will know something about Zoya's past, that even Zoya doesn't know herself. That makes this event even more poignant for me. And this is the reason I believe why they made a Gajhini out of Asad yesterday!
So Asad is the first one to collect the second piece of the Jigsaw puzzle. But with the extremely extra ordinary stroke of intelligence (!!!!) that Asad is showing right now, I doubt if he will think of these two pieces as parts of the same picture. At least not just yet.
