Guys life is busy for me now, not giving me enough time to update. I will try to update as soon as possible.

I know the update is short but its all I could type in two days time.

PART 45

Geet held her breath as she saw principal picking the cell to dial maan. Babaji please save me today!!! She muttered under her breath hoping for some miracle to happen and she could reverse back those few minutes of her life.

But hell it isn't possible in reality and she knew her death is closer. But it seemed god heard her when principal was stopped by a knock on the door. Come in, he said granting the permission for the person to enter and there stood meera as her savior.

Sir, I am really sorry to interrupt you but I just heard about the incident with geet that happened few minutes back. I just want few minutes of yours and I hope you won't deny me.

"yes miss kapoor, tell me what you have to say in the matter."

"sir I know what geet did wasn't acceptable and she deserves a severe punishment but then rusticating her would destroy her career and we both know how brilliant of a student she is. And I also know that you want to inform mr maan khurana about the irresponsible behavior of geet in the school off lately but sir mr khurana and geet are facing some personal problems since last few months. And nowadays their grandmother is too ill and that had just covered up their mind. I know it isn't a proper excuse for what she did but she was just confirming her grandmother's health from him when she was caught.

I hope you will understand their personal issue and would give her one more chance and I would take responsibility that she wont repeat that again."

Geet looked at meera with wide eyes, and thought how fluently this girl could lie and that too with so much confidence and then looked at principal who seemed to be thinking over meera's words. Meera you are just great, she thought, giving her standing ovation in her mind.

"miss kapoor I do understand what you just said but it's the duty of the school to inform the guardian about the deeds of the students and I have to do that to avoid any future consequences."

"sir try to understand mr khurana's stand too, he is already too much involved in his issues and then giving him an additional worry about something which I could solve myself would be unfair for him. And just give me time till the review exams that are gonna be held after school starts and if she doesn't perform well, you could take any adverse step you want"

"ok miss kapoor, you are a brilliant student and you had always completed your promises so on your responsibility I am letting her go, but this shouldn't be repeated mind that!!"

Both immediately nodded their head, taking a sigh of relief and moved out.

As they reached outside, geet hugged meera tightly jumping in happiness, "oh you are so great, love you jaan' thankyou thankyou for doing that. You are just the best' geet exclaimed hugging meera tightly choking her out of breath.

"geet leave me" meera said somehow pulling herself apart and taking a long intake of oxygen. After calming down she gave a glare to geet, "what were you trying to do by using phone in the school premises. And you know maan bhai would have literally killed you if the news of your rustication would have reached him. Wo to accha hua that rohan came and told me about your so-brave-act and somehow I cooked up a story, but you know the matter was really serious. It was nice he didn't check your cell or we would have been dead by now."

"I am sorry yaar, I didn't noticed professor was standing on my head" geet said looking down. "it doesn't matter that you saw or not, you were caught that's the main thing. Secondly, who was so important that you couldn't even wait for school to end too???"

"ahhh wo" geet fumbled looking everywhere than meera. "I got it, just come with me to hostel, I have something important to talk" saying so meera dragged geet in hostel literally fuming now knowing the reason.

Meera closed the door with the bang as they reached heir hostel room. She looked at geet furiously, while geet stood timid in front of her timid like a prey. 'so your happiness says, all issues have been cleared ha!!!" meera said folding her hands on her chest.

"yes, we are on talking terms again" geet said giving her a cute smile but meera just turned away. "so don't you think it's time to again be responsible toward studies. Had you thought for once what could have happened today? You would have been rusticated n the mid of the year and no school would have taken you this time, your whole year would have been wasted."

"but it wasn't intentional yaar, and I got the lesson, I promise t get back to studies now" geet said in pleading tone. "promise me you would" "ha baba" geet said linking her hand with meera's and moved to bed as they settled on it.

"accha now tell me about him" meera said all excited. "I can't tell you his name" geet said pouting. "why so??" asked meera confused. "umm just can't yaar' samaj na but I will tell you about him" "I will somehow find his name too jaani, after all somewhere my instincts say that he is your neighbor or lives somewhere close to your locality"

"how can you say that" asked geet a little shocked. Well he wasn't her neighbor, but they live close.. so partially she is right. "simple idiot, last time you went home, you came back all lost and sad and then you again went home and you come all happy and excited. Ab that means the person lives somewhere close by to your house" said meera giving a wink, making geet realize why she always stands first.

"chal now tell me about him"

"he is quite nice as a person. Tujhe pata hai when the first time we were ogether, we used to fight all the time, there was no understanding between us, par is ek saal me bhut kuch badal gya.i understand him better now, aur wo, wo t hamesha se mujhe samajhte the, shayad jante the ki I am an idiot, thodi slow hu in mamlo me. But above everything, he would always be my guide and protector, I love hm now, but I respected him first and'." She was cut in mid by meera.

"wait wait geet, you are talking as if he isn't some boy, but some man of 25-30 age. I thought you will say like you love him and love to spend time with him and blah blah, but yha to you are talking as if its some senior person in topic."

geet stopped for a while thinking what to reply when her cell beeped with a message. It was a message from maan asking whether everything is ok or not.

She thought to call him and excused herself. The call was received after few rings and she heard maan's hoarse voice. "how was your day" she asked smiling while he just said fine. Geet felt some disturbance in the voice and asked where he is. "just going to reach home geet" ""you are riding bike???" yeah", he replied, as he tried to keep a focus on road.

"you should be picking call while driving, its so unsafe" geet exclaimed getting hyper when she heard a loud screech of tires making her heart skip some beats.

"maan maan, what happened" she asked panicked, as she held the phone tightly to her ears. But didn't hear a single response from him. "maan are you ok na' she again asked, her voice cracking as she made way back in her room, as some tears flooded her eyes.

After few minutes probably, she heard his response, "am ok geet, don't worry" geet just tried to hold back her cry as she heard some hassle voice in background and a loud voice of someone in pain too. "aap.. app kha ho aur ye awaje kaisi" geet asked trying to control her emotions.

"kuch nhi geet, its all ok and ha am keeping phone will talk to you later" he said but she could still hear the voices from back getting more louder. She clutched her chest as she tried to think what must have happened, her insides quiet scared with all wrong thoughts. She looked around and heard some noises from bathroom, indicating meera's presence insides.

Not waiting for any single minute, she picked her purse and ran out, making her way to her home.
