As soon as she got the inkling that Arjun was interested in Purvi while being engaged to her, she should have backed out of the deal.

This is just a stupid serial. But for me the message to any teenager/young adult should be that if a man/woman shows any interest in someone else while being engaged to you, do not think that you can strike 'deals' or hope the problem will go away.

You are asking for trouble and choosing unhappiness over happiness all your life.

Love is a beautiful thing which cannot be forced on anyone. And yes true love marriages do exist and they are not 'deals'

IF you do happen to fall in love with someone who loves someone else or have striken a 'deal', never loose your self-respect or your dignity for the sake of that relationship. It is not worth it.

And yes, always take personal responsibility for your actions. If you made a mistake, you were just human. Life is not defined by that moment but what you do after that moment.

That is all I want to say.

But dear, isn't the bolded statement applicable to Purvi too, she knew that Ovi was engaged to Arjun, why was she so keen on her marriage to Arjun,. Shouldn't she have understood that Arjun was 2 timing both sisters - and how did she know that Arjun loved her only - there can't be a magic mirror she saw. In this whole mess, Archana and Sulo is most to be blamed - they should have been firm and said no for both sisters in the long run. They should have flatout refused Arjun's proposal to marry anyone...

Really, I dont recall purvi threatening suicide if she does not get arjun. Is it purvi crying out to dad manav about arjun behaviour and his love for purvi and pari over her?
