He cant connect very well with general audience. There's either an air of discomfort on his end or on the contestant's end. Maybe he's too high handed for the normal people in his presence, we dont know what goes behind the camera. Big B or Salman, their USP is that they make their audiences very comfortable with them. Big B still has some restraint but Sallu is bindasss and he keeps others the same way.

If he takes a break, from hosting every other award show...from being just about everywhere basically give people a chance to miss him, then perhaps it would work out better as there would be some excitement.

Agreed. As far as KBC concerned many people felt he lacked Big B's warmth. Big B would behave as if he was more desperate for the contestant to take home a large amount. While SRK would be poker-faced. Such things were a turn off.

IMO in PP SRK was pretty good. But the concept of the show didnt work. ZKJ was plain bad in every way. It came on a channel that was low in trps already. He signed it only for money and this proves that one should not work only for the love of money. And finally I think the personality of a host should suit the show. Like Salman's lukkha behavior suits BB while Big B was a misfit though he is a popular host on KBC.

Big B hosting Big Boss was a disaster. He is too sophisticated for such a show... I'm not sure why Panchvi Pass didn't work in India. It was fairly popular in the US before it lost its charm. Imagine Sallu hosting a show like KBC...I doubt this guy can even do 2+2 and imagine him quizzing me on my GK. 😆

Agree with both of you here.. He is tooo overexposed.. which affects his credibility and makes him look small and petty.

Piyu... i wud say timing...i know i'll be accused of giving excuses but who cares...KBC 3 which Shah hosted was at a time wen the management of SP changed n their strategies failed miserably, u can check out all the shows on air on SP after Uday took over as the head of SP..only now has SP managed some stability with their shows...as far as Paachvi paas is concerned, it was during IPL time n there were difference between Shah n SP on this issue n as a result the show suffered...ZKJ well, even Shah condfessed he did it coz he needed the money...

but i geniunely feel SRK shud be a meany wen it comes to hosting coz he is too sweet n tat doesn't go well with the audiences...
