i am not too sure either...
but i think he is a preist's son...who went on a teerth yaatra (?)...but something happened and he died..
he had left shlok at the bharadwaj house...since then he has been living there

meera and shlok are very close friends

Well a more interesting question popped in my mind after reading this.....whats he doing in the serial😕 ...besides running a few errands n being bossed around by the members of the house, Shlok seems to have no specific role...hope the makers of the serial define proper roles for all the characters....i daresay there are too many of them....all in the same place! 😉
