Just imagine you were Meera...What would you have done to keep trouble out of your life?

What about if you were Nandini??

Who would you rather be? Nandini or Meera?

I would be none
These two women are pathetic in their own ways
If I were meera I would never stay in the house for 2 days
I would leave the day after saying my mom called or one of my students are not well , there are so many excuses :/
And if I were nandini , I would try to be independent , go away from Balraj's house and live on my own
If someone I don't like lives in my house I wouldn't tolerate that
But I wouldn't hate on the unborn too
I would sit meera and try to know the truth
Instead of accusing her of everything
Her husband is more at fault
But if I were meera and keeping the baby
If I thought my baby is in danger
I would leave that up to God instead of hurting people with my presence
She knows nandini can't stand her
Yet she is always trying to befriend nandini
But then I think nandini is dumb but meera is dumber
If she didn't want anything to do with the Asthanas or didn't want anybody to know the truth then I would just tell them the baby isn't ani's
Since that's what she wanted to do in the beginning anyway :/

I'd be neither I dont want to go through the suffering pain of either of the characters.

Meera's position is very complicated no escape route for her. She is pregnant, unmarried with the child of a man who cheated her and whose family is treating her pathetically. Social stigma is also attached. Her roads are blocked to leave with people trying to murder her child if she steps out. Above all she got to know the guy was married and had to co-live with his wife.

Nandini doesn't have a family to go to. Her father left her with the Asthanas after marriage didnt meet her once. Her house is on stake and she gets to know her husband was a two timing douche who made another girl pregnant and that same girl is living in her house getting special attention from her father in law and her child will inherit all the property.

Who would want to be either of these position I hope nobody has to go through what the characters are going through.😳

If I really was in a similar situation I would have done a lot of things differently and would not have done the things the way did. Less sentimental and emotional than both of them.

I would be none...I would never be in that kind of situation...they both had so many red flags but chose to ignore it...How could nandani not suspect anything when Ani was going for long periods...and how could meera not suspect anything when he didnt introduce her to his family for 2 years but then she slept with him without protection and got pregnant...they both let their guard down and now they are screwed...

but if I was meera and once the truth came out I would not stay in that house even for a minute...I could never put nandani in that position...if the family wanted to see the baby, then they would have to visit outside...but meera is staying there and hurting nandani more...

I also wish Nandani had also left...even though the family say they love her they cannot move without balraj's permission so what is that love gonna get her...

I feel bad for both of them but it is also a fact that they are smart women...they were played by ani and now they are being played by balraj

I wouldn't mind looking like Meera.

But being pregnant without support system nor the baby's father to share my life with would be emotionally difficult.

Hey Faati interesting topic :D I sympathize with both women. It's not possible to imagine the pain and trauma they went through. I'd hv done things differently , only because I'm a different person and not at all have any resemblance to Nandini or Meera.

I think the better way is to ask "what would you have done if you find yourself in same situation as either N or M? The reason is N and M have their own personality which we can't imitate. They behave that way bec. that's how they are.

Nandini is traditional, innocent and trusts ppl and she could not ever imagine that her husband was acting as if he is faithful in front of her. She had a simple life w/o much complication to imagine he is cheating.

Meera on the other hand did have more experience with people being an independent woman. It's v clear from the way she speaks , she is innocent at heart and when Anirudh showing lot of attention to her, she just didn't have option to think he may be cheating.
