Well not suffer, but he should be made to realize that he's wrong. That he's pushing her away for no reason. His family has accepted her, so his excuse of her being misfit is useless. And as for hurting her like his father, then that's his choice. Yes he's done it and yes it's not always intentional, but he's always there for her when she needs it (except the slap obviously, at the engagement). He doesn't realize himself how important she is to him, until he sits and thinks, like he did when he was staring at the earring. What I don't understand is why he says to himself "i'm engaged" but denies it to Zoya. If she's so desperate to know what it means to him, it obviously means something to her. But he's so emotionally challenged that he can't see that. Just my opinion. I don't want them to get married so soon, but as we've seen the show can stretch a day into a week's worth of episodes, so 10 days could very well last a month and a half. But I think it's high time he admit that she's an important part of his life.
