It's a gift given by a father to his two daughters. The father is perhaps not a man worthy of any ones love and respect. He is selfish, arrogant, and ruthless and he is also gullible enough to get swayed by his domineering sadistic wife to get involved in the crimes that she commits.
But when it comes to his daughters, we have seen genuine love and affection in his eyes.
To one daughter, he gave the gift while she was too small and about to get lost for him for perhaps forever.. he made the same gift for his second daughter and kept it like a treasure to be given to her at an appropriate time, which finally became the day of her engagement.
What is the symbolism of this gift which is nothing less than a treasure to the two girls who received it?
It's in the shape of an egg and when they open it, what do they see? ... two figurines of a couple lovingly waltzing to a soothing tune. It's not the typical kind of a gift that we expect a father; especially a father like Gaffur Siddique would gift his daughters. Why then did he give it and what does it signify?
A couple blissfully dancing together signifies love, romance, marriage and togetherness and it invokes in us that happy ever after feeling... It takes us into a world of dreams and wishes.
So, was Siddique wishing his daughters, a happy ever after with the man of their dreams?
Perhaps he was and if it was his intention then I would start to respect him a little bit more. And may be Siddique really had that thought in mind, when he gave this gift... May be it is also a way of asking forgiveness from his daughters (especially Zoya) because he knew that he could not be the kind of father that they really deserve.. and so, I guess he was wishing them a future with someone who would give them the love and care that they need,which he himself could not give.
In the case of Zoya, his wishes for her have come true in a way. Zoya has found someone who would always love her and who would always care for her... But will Asad be there besides her always? This is the irony of Siddique and his daughters' lives... Siddique has taken part in destroying the happiness of a family (Dilshad and Rashid and their kids) and as a result these kids hate him and despise him. But destiny is playing a game of irony by making his daughters fall in love with the two sons of the man whose destiny and fate Siddique rewrote with his own hands.
And now, the biggest question that arises is will Asad's love for zoya withstand the test of all tests (the truth of their intertwined past) and will Asad be there for Zoya always to cherish her and support her at every turn in her life?
An egg symbolizes a mother's love... the dancing couple cocooned inside the egg perhaps signifies the warmth and care of a mother.
Zoya has lost her mother but Zoya I am sure always has her mother's good wishes and blessings. Zoya's mother's blessings is something which comes from a pure heart(unlike Raziya) and this is what I think is going to help Zoya... And this is what I think differentiates Asad- Zoya's love from Ayaan-Humaira.
Obstacles will come in Asad and Zoya's love story but their love will triumph in the end. Asad will definitely overcome his past and accept Zoya for who she is and Siddique would also someday give them blessing from his heart.. After all how long can he fight with destiny?
He had wished for his small daughter to find a man who would love her and make all her dreams come true.. and if that man turns out to be his enemy also, he has to realize and accept the fact that he cannot take back his wishes and play with his daughter's happiness.
But what will happen to Humaira? Will Humaira get Ayaan's love one day? Hopefully she will too.. but I have always felt that Ayaan- Humaira's love story will not get complete till there is a redemption in Raziya.
It's Raziya's bad Karma that is preventing Humaira from getting the love she deserves. Siddique has wished both his daughters in the same way but right now it is Zoya's dreams only which are getting fulfilled because Zoya has the additional blessings of her mother.
Ayaan had agreed to marry Humaira only because of Raziya's manipulations.. And as we all know Ayaan is yet nowhere close to really loving Humiara the way Humaira's heart desires and right now even if Ayaan and Humaira marries it will end in nothing but disaster. But Zoya, if she get married to Asad even tomorrow,she would be happy with Asad until the relationship truth of Siddique and Zoya comes out... And even then Asad will definitely never stop loving Zoya. He would always love Zoya where ever she is.
And hopefully, the day is not far when Zoya would waltz with Asad to a tune that only they both could hear.
PS. If the spoiler that has come out which says that Dilshad vowed to get Asad married in 10 days is true, then Asad will get married to only Zoya.. I don't think that there is anything to get panicked.. even in the promo Dilshad is asking Asad whether he would not stop Zoya.. And she had earlier given him the ring to put on Zoya's finger.. now when Asad stops her and put that ring on Zoya's finger, why would Dilshad ask Asad to marry Tanu?.. And why would Asad agree to marry Tanu when he clearly knows that he loves Zoya and wants her to be with him? That will not happen unless Siddique's truth comes out, which is not going to happen this soon..
I always had a feeling that Asad and Zoya would get either officially engaged or married prior to Humaira and Ayaaan.. and I think that is whats going to happen.. Billo Rani has no chance with Asad.. (and Ankie Dear where are you? May be, "she will now shift to my room".. is a hint by Karan?)
