To me, watching the epi finally today, i can't understand why anyone is sympathizing with Ovi. Truly. I did feel sorry for her off and on about the baby. Clearly she needed to know her own baby died. If that had happened none of the rest would have.
But beyond that...just watching this entire episode, once again Ovi's whole drama showed to me that Ovi's is only in love with one person, and that's herself.
Whatever one can say about Purvi's bad decisions, she was never thinking of herself. Which of course on the other extreme, as we all know, is also wrong. But I think the idea that Purvi's decisions have caused problems with everyone else is short-sighted.
Ovi's complete and total control of every life she touches with the expectation that everything that happens must happen for her & her desires, is the real root cause of the problem. Ovi's drama caused every single person in that room (maybe even Soham) to turn against Purvi and Arjun,,,without knowing any facts. Without even asking Purvi, or Arjun.
Every member of the D household in addtion to members of the other clans, have stood on their heads to avoid Ovi's tantrums, sadness, unhappiness. Ovi must not be allowed to have negative emotions, she must always be catered to. Ovi this Ovi that. please Ovi no, we'll fix it.
Purvi was the most guilty of appeasing Ovi, then Arjun next, then Manav, Dk, ad infinitum NO one has ever held her accountable. Ever.
There are people like that in life. They are people who are emotionally ill and they cause chaos where ever they are. Their dramas are so convincing that they cause everyone around them to fall all over themselves appeasing them.
Varsha was that whirlwind once, so was Savita... It would be nice if these two reformed characters would see what's happening and put a stop to it.. At least to expose it.
But i won't hold my breath. 😆
(Shruti's acting however, was outstanding...absolutely brilliant ! She is so good she even convinces many of the viewers ! )
