Gyanbhai shu kare che!? Grow your beard back. Poetic musician look ap-par jachta hai. Woh look zyada saras che 😆. You make a very good uncle. Along with Chandrika as chachi.

Apologies to by Gujju friends here. I know my Gujrati is appalling 😕. I have just been learning from the show.

and by the way in pure gujarati it is shu not su kare che.i hope you didnt mind my correcting you.

Don't know, has this name been altered for all or only Actor playing VC mispronounced. Original Name is Gaan Chatur -one who is good for nothing but 'gaan', (guj. for singing) and idle.

I thought is was Gyan and Vidya because both names are rooted in education. Is it Gaan in the book?

Oh yes, in book he is Gaan Chatur. The author had named most of his characters hinting their traits or position in symbolism. Gun Sundari is " lady of ideals". Vidya Chatur = learned person ( in book he was an erudite prime minister in a princely state, though here many changes in adaption). Other day I was speaking about Dukh ba. her name is Dukh baa, (indicative 'unhappy'). And not 'Dug' ba as in forum. This unintentional mispronounce has a funny edge. 'Dug' in Gujarati means a small rattling toy!😆
