TOI has learnt that Ekta Kapoor has cast lleana D'Cruz opposite Varun Dhawan in a film being directed by his father David Dhawan. It is a remake of a South film and will be an entertainer with a message.

Apparently, the film deals with the subject of protecting women in society and, seeing Varun's appeal with the young girls, it is slotted for release on Valentine's Day, 2014.

So, Varun has signed a 3-film deal, like the YRFs, with his dad or something. I guess all the big shot directors are just waiting for SuSu to have any time for poor Varun.

This is super exciting. I love Ileana, she was the best part of Barfi! For me. What an awesome actress & so beautiful & I think Varun & She will make an awesome pair so YAY 😳
