I'm positive that Chennai Express will now release on Independence Day (Aug 15)!!!!

There have been a lot of rumors, but neither SRK or Rohit spoke about it officially. Rather than clashing with OUATIM/Singh Sahab The Great, it makes much more sense now for CE to take the open Aug 15 spot!

But the Subhash Ghai film was shifted a while back wasnt it? So was Satyagrah. MM and MD have both quoted exhibitors saying that CE is coming on Eid.

It's okay its not your fault! There was confusion because the UTV calendar listed CE as releasing on Aug 8, but it's been suspicious because neither SRK or Rohit said anything about it! So ya I think they will take 15 Aug spot.

No the Subhash Ghai film just got shifted today! I'm sure SRK wouldn't have wanted to clash with Subhash. Satyagrah got moved a while back.

Independence Day is free, so that's why I got the strong feeling about CE coming that day rather than clashing with other films!

Maybe UTV and SRK spoke to Subhash to get him to move his film. Lets see if the annouce it for 15th Aug.
