I really like her character right now and her clothes and style so I think part of why she may have chosen this show is because Chanchan is a lot like Sanaya.

We should give the show a true chance sanaya is putting all of her self and i love her as chan chan as well a love story so soon would have drawn comparisions I believe a romantic comedy would be perfect for 2013 for her and hopefully farhan with good direction will step up all it needs is some chemistry in their romance for fans to fall in love with their jodi.

one reason for sanaya to choose dis show might be that..the shelf life of telly actors is very short. and older actors have to compete with young generations to be in race. she is already a senior in this regard. in d tellyworld it is like out of sight ... out of mind. may be she didnot had any choice but to accept it..

( they will be knowing their reasons best. we just can speculate)

I was in 2 minds whether to comment on this forum because obviously any constructive criticism will be viewed as bashing. Anyways I was surprised when I heard that Sanaya has agreed to do this show since she always mentioned in her interviews that she does not want to do saas bahu type shows, but she ended up exactly doing the same. Some people are arguing that it's not typical saas bahu show, but rose is a rose however you call it. I am going to watch it though only ocassionally only for Sanaya as saas bahu shows are not my cup of tea. I wish her all the best.

But some poeple will be ready to bash at the drop of any criticism failing to realize based on public reviews only, a show has the chance to evolve.

I know how it feels when someone attacks you, I got some nasty PM's myself from some of her so called fans, so take it with a pinch of salt. Best way out is either ignore them or just ignore this forum.

in my opinion i think she made a perfect decision :)

I think, she made a right decision by taking this show. Although her last two shows were love stories, they were different! One was light hearted, college life fun type and the other one was intense and mature love story..
Now with this she is portraying rea life and giving social msg and I am sure there will be good amount of romance.
She is literally leading the new show. With every new show she has shown her progress as an actor.
It was just a perfect decision on her part to attempt something new.
