I loved the episode. I was only expecting to like Sanaya and Supriyaji but loved everything.I loved the opening scene, some say it was OTT but I found it totally relatable to a grandmother worried about a granddaughter's marriage. My own grandmother started worrying about my 22 year old cousin being left on the shelf the day she graduated college. It was so real.
I absolutely loved CC's introduction...subtle but cute...she's doing what she does for a living...again very real.
CC's family again so real as were the interactions between them...are there even any other liberal yet sane families in Twood.
Friends scene...I was ok with the acting but again it was the concept of friendship that was portrayed so well and seemed so real. Loved the fact that the bride too had to chip in for her own wedding present😆...never saw that before.
Mandir scene, confrontation between future MIL and DIL was classic but fresh...how often do you find a female lead who will pout and turn her face away from the MIL character and then have to be reminded by the friend why they are there. Usually the FL will be convincing the friend...so again very real.
ML's entry too was fine, nothing extraordinary but normal...that word again...real.
It's way to early to make a judgement call on any character or even the show but as a stand alone episode I think it converyed that this show is about real people who we as an audience should be able to relate to. I think Sony is actually better at this thought than SP and hopefully this show will cater to those of us who don't enjoy the heavy saas-bahu stuff and want to watch more realistic characters and leads who actually are human and make mistakes.
