Never ask questions which you don't want the answers too😉

Rhetorical Qs are meant for that :P

I can't comment on his past because I am looking at the work he is doing now.I am nobody to judge him but he will appreciated from my side for his good as he is bashed by me for his bad work.

No more comments on him 😛

You have serious problems with the show, right and still you watch it?😲 You can't look beyond the designer outfits, can you? You cannot look at how somebody is trying to portray a strong woman in the TV industry. You cannot see that they're trying to break-through the stereotype of the typical heroine shown in shows. To tell you the truth,I never liked his movies too but I am ready to look beyond that.Because he has brought class to the TV industry,he has brought brilliant direction where you're mesmerized by how the scenes are shot!I love how the show doesn't drag unnecessarily and they do not shoot scenes just for the sake of completion of an episode.
It would be good to appreciate them on the good work rather than judging them on their past work.

LOL, i stopped watching the show after 2nd episode 😆 I read Prabha's WU & hang around forum for the pure entertainment which it gives unlike the show 😉 The limited experience on Indian soaps i have is enough to build an opinion that any strong female protagonist will become weepy sacrificing mahaan devi after a while 🤢

Anyways good luck with SLB & Kumud 😉

Hope you get my point!:)
And thank you for replying me back because some people in this forum just comment, bash and go away without giving answers and it is really annoying. It is better to have a healthy discussion with valid points rather than running away!BYE:P

The traditional costume for rabari women as well is backless black blouse and ghagra. The only thing out of place is the dupatta. They wear pure cotton dupaata not net ones but backless blouse is completely the norm.

Thank you. This was the answer I was looking for. I just wanted to know if Kumud's dress is according to the place and community she is living in.
Had to go through so many posts which argues about substance in Kumud's character, her sensuality, feminism and even girls drooling over topless Gautam.

I was giving sarcastic answers to your "rhetorical questions"

OMG assumptions? You're going to ASSUME on the basis of the past works you have seen and are going to judge the show based on that, quite judgmental I must say:P You don't even watch the show, you don't feel the show has scope and still you come here! Criticizing the show is okay but people who don't even watch the show come here for entertainment?Does entertainment mean constant digs on the female protagonist for her behaviour and clothing ?
You have stopped watching the show after the 2nd episode and comment on how the show is going, which BTW is going great right now!

I don't even want to argue more with you because you don't even watch the show and still comment on acting of the lead actors*rolling eyes* and written updates do not give away everything:P

I'm done and my last comment on this thread!Bye:)

There's nothing wrong with the show, its a modern adaptation and that's the latest fashion and what she's wearing is better than other clothes I've seen on TVTV

Here are some links of the traditional attire. As I said in my earlier post, their duppatas are all cotton. They drape if over their head but the blouses are backless. There are variations, some cover the whole tummy region and other are shorter. They have obviously changed a few bits wherein kumud has net dupatta and she drapes it differently.
