So agree with you! About the belittling of Zoya's character ..I seriously don't know what is the need for it since Zoya can still remain sane and do what she does. I haven't seen any of their previous shows before so I don't know about Khushi but I certainly have observed that people in general are mostly concerned with Asad's emotions and his pain. And how Zoya is going to be the ultimate balm for all his pains! Not like they don't understand Zoya and her trials and tribulations but the makers have put more spotlight on Asad's case..Well people can chose to relate to any character they want (though I believe the creatives have a big say in this) but the main problem for me is that all of this is done at the expense of Zoya's character. Zoya...well ...she is conveniently projected as the happy go lucky and the ever forgiving "happy" "little" creature who seemed to have a mind of her own but for some reason choses not to use it especially when the case at hand is Asad. Zoya can be anything the script demands at the time...mature and understanding or stupid and hilarious! I mostly don't mind Asad's bipolar behavior cuz I guess he is struggling ever since Zoya invaded his life 😆 ...but the problem is how Zoya responds to his behavior! I don't understand why she starts behaving silly...I guess this makes an idea for some light hearted moments for the creatives 😕! And I think most of the viewers are expected to justify this out of character beahavior as "love changes people" and so to say.."mitwaaa...ishq pe zor nahi"...🤪

Do I watch it still...yes.. do I like everything that is shown in the name of Asad and Zoya..no. Although I have to say that I do get surprized every now and then with some nicely written Asad Zoya scenes.

Does being in love mean losing all self-respect?

Because to me that's what it seems like when I watch 4 lions show (with the exception of Geet). It all starts of good and glory, the girls are happy-go-lucky but are extremely strong minded and confident in themselves but as soon as the man enters their life and they fall in love, all their dignity and self-esteem is gone down the drain and they start acting like bunch of 5 year old that need to resort to immature actions to get the attention of their 'love'. I'm not going to lie I have gone googly eyed in front of my crushes in school but if any one of them would have humiliated me, insulted me and degraded me the way Asad does Zoya and Arnav did Khushi I would have told them to go play with the traffic, just because they hold your heart doesn't give them the right of passage to destroy you, and that's what men like Asad and Arnav do they destroy you, but a lot of us don't see that on the show because the writers don't make it a point to show it, instead of showing the female leads breaking down and growing stronger, they show the girls cry for a bit and then next second resort to childish behaviours, this isn't going to make the audience any wiser to the seriousness of these situations - I mean just look at how many girls go crazy over the actors when they manhandle the female counterpart all in the name of passion. But seeing their past projects the writers probably think there's nothing wrong with this sort of behaviour, which to me is disturbing.

Coming to the male leads of their shows, I am going to leave Maan out of this because compared to Arnav and Asad he was an Angel. Arnav and Asad are the epitome of sexiness there is no doubt about that I mean have you seen their face and their body *phew* but are us girls really this shallow that we ignore their ugly interior because of their beautiful exterior? because that's what they exactly have an ugly interior, no they are not completely black hearted like Razia and Shyam, but they have chars at the edges of their heart making them not so pure hearted like their female counterpart. They both are ignorant, they both are rude, abusive and selfish, Arnav even then is better than Asad - Asad takes the cake in being the worst lead character of 4 lions, because on top of being ignorant, rude, selfish and abusive, he's archaic and judgemental and never learns from his mistakes, at least Arnav regretted his mistakes and never repeated them (he just made new ones) but Asad doesn't even seem to regret them and constantly repeats them, which in my eyes makes him unredeemable.

Alas although I absolutely hate Asad and have lost every respect for Zoe, I still like watching their romantic scenes cause of their chemistry however I just have to watch it with a pinch of salt and I have to turn my mind completely off (even then I sometime find myself rolling my eyes or cringing)

Also I haven't watched today's episode and seeing your views I don't want to see it either. Everyone was really banging on about it but I feel iffy about the whole thing. So instead I'm looking at gifs and cooking up different scenarios for the dance.

So apparently for some reason I am watching arnav and khushi scenes again right now. I have a hip sprain...cant walk around much thus I am very very bored, and I have nothing else to do.

Arnav did repeat the same mistakes actually. He keeps coercing her to get what he wants. Thats the problem I have with these leads. They keep doing whatever THEY want. What about what the woman you supposedly loves wants? What about her wishes, her wants, her dreams?

Asad treats Zoya like a punch back. Punch a little one moment, then make some damn coffee (which takes 5 mins to make) and then smile a little. Same process repeated punch a little, smile a little and keep the girl hooked so she doesnt go anywhere. So she keeps coming back because you always smile a little, thus making her think you are interested. Arnav did same thing...and actually he kept doing stuff like that even after the whole MU between them about khushi-shyam affair cleared. Its truly saddening to watch.

What about putting your pride and ego aside for once to do something nice for the girl you 'love'.

Btw, Maan did the manhandling too, but I was actually okay with that there because at the end of the day he would commit bloody murder is necessary to keep Geet safe and happy. He would never intentionally harm her. No he is the kind of guy who would go looking for Geet to make sure she is okay even when she stood him up in front of hundreds of people at their engagement party.

If I ever met a guy like Asad who was as hot as KSG. I can just imagine it in my head. I am wearing my shorts and a slightly revealing shirt (only slighty 😛) and he sees me...one look and he starts lecturing me about tehzeeb. I might say to him... (option a) before speaking of tehzeeb to me look at the bulge you are sporting 😆 🤣 🤣 🤣 (Lets face it...he is attracted to women in jeans/ women in western clothes very much 😉 😉)

Option B: Laugh in his face.

Option C: Start lecturing him about how clothes do not represent who a person is on the inside. I respect other people and I would never speak to anyone the way he did just because of something superficial like clothes, but apparently you would making you the one lacking decency and morals.

Or ofcourse I might do all 3 minus the first one. 😆 😆

P.S. if you can recommend any other couple's scenes to watch please do so because I will pull my hair out if I keep watching these two.

P.P.S I agree that KSG is deliciously hot, but Barun??? Meehh...Gurmeet much better looking. But ofcourse KSG 😳 ☺️

See I gush too...I am not some saint afterall. But I gush over KSG, not Asad because there really isnt much to gush over when it comes to Asad.

Oh, how could I have forgotten about that - and lets not forget him demeaning her intelligence, he did that quite often as well. But yes one of Arnav and even Asad's problem is that it's all me, myself and I for them that's another reason why I loved Maan so much, he did stuff for Geet, he was even willing to let go of his ego and pride for her (remember the driver fiasco) but for Arnav and Asad their ego is their first love and they wouldn't ever let it go even if it's hurting the girls they claim to love so much (although Asad hasn't claimed anything but you get the drift) - which says to me could they possibly really love their female counterparts? and if that's the style of loving, I don't want it. Also yes I do remember Arnav continuing to use Khushi as a punching bag after the whole misunderstanding cleared, I don't think I can forget when he blamed her for Shyam's advances and Asad he just uses Zoya as a punching bag well because she lets him, actually in fact both Khushi and Zoya allowed themselves to be so disrespected. How can one expect to be respected, if they don't respect themselves and every one of Zoe and Khushi's actions showed that they had/have no self-respect.

However, Maan did also love her with a passion - he did stuff for her that was out of character for him, he was Geet's strength and her Messiah, even when he didn't particularly like her his harsh words always had a life lesson for her, which Geet took to consideration and grew that bit stronger.

Ha Ha yeah if I met an Asad in life he would probably give me a worse lecture than what he does Zoe, at least she still wears jeans and shirt that covers her whole body, I wear skirts, dresses and shorts, he would probably be scandalised. LOL, yeah you should do all three of them, will shut him right up - really badly wanted Zoe to give him a good dose of lecture on tehzeeb and tameez honestly but that ain't happening.

P.S Hmm well I do watch Jeevika and Viren scenes on YouTube, seriously Viren brings back the faith that not all men are complete asshats. oh and I do watch Rishab and Madhu but RK is just as big of an asshat, still watch the show for Drashti though.

P.P.S You know it's funny but I was never attracted to KSG during DMG days, I think it's hairstyle that's doing it for me and maybe his lack of tattoo's (I know it's just covered), and Barun I started finding him lot more visually pleasing in IPK, same for Gurmeet as well to be honest, didn't find him attractive before Geet, what do these stylist do to make them look so gorgeous?

Viren is awesom yes...and I used to watch ek hazaron mein but I liked maanvi and virat much much more. Viren and jeevika were just so boring. It felt like it would take Jeevika a year to get out virenji. She talks so slowly that you wanna fall asleep. Viren too is very boring. While virat is fun, and manvi is so lively. Kinda like me...I gravitate towards fun/talkative people because I am like that too.

I do watch MB...but nowadays I keep scratching my head. WTH is going on? Some don enters the show called Madhubala ek ish ek junoon which was supposed to be all about the BW industry and RK and Madhu (and how RK forces Madhu to become an actress)

P.P.S. yep do agree with you. If you see now...gurmeet does not look as good in punar vivah. He only looked good as maan, he definitely did not look good during his ram-sita days. KSG always looked good to me though...especially with his tats covered now...I am not a big fan of huge tats. I may like tiny ones. Writing of some kind on his serratus anterior muscle...but thats about it. I did not like his big big tattoos. But I did always think he looked handsome...he has the most adorable eyes too. Very expressive.
