The episode starts with AMmaji reaching Alakananda's Mother's House in Allahabad. She scolds Alaka for telling lies to her and also reprimands her for trying to cover Meera's liies and also tells her that the onus of a parent lies in bringing up their children in a better fashion. At that moment, Alaka's Mom (AM) comes and welcomes Ammaji (SC) into the house and invites her to stay for a few days. SC agrees but mentions that they have to return cos Sonakshi's weding will be held very soon.
Meera is thinking about the letters and the village children are as usual after Shloka telling him that only goats follow his language. To this Shloka answers back that's because they have brain inside their heads as compared to the girls. He notices Meera sitting all alone in a dazed state but at that moment Alaka comes and asks them to pack their belongings. Meera follows Alaka to a different part of the house, though she wants to inquire about the letters she doesn't do so. Instead she asks Alaka whether they could stay for a few days more. Alaka tells her that they will come back to Allahabad after the wedding and then they can stay for a number of days.
Meera gets ready to return and she finds AM sitting and arranging various pieces of jewelleries. She keeps the letters in her handbag and then approaches AM. She asks AM that her Mom must have looked great wearing those jewelleries. AM replies in the affirmative and Meera then pusrues slowly by asking that Alaka might have been the heart throbs of many but she also might have had a single heart throb. AM looks surprised but before she can answer, Ammaji appears. AM hands over Ammaji's medicines to Meera who keeps the medicines in the same bag. AM also gives her the entire box of jewelleries. She then sees Alaka and Meera off who drives away with Ammaji.
At home, Sonakshi's Mom and Bua are applying besan and haldi to her and pulling each other's legs. At that moment, the maid comes and informs them that Ammaji has returned with Alaka and Meera/ Sonakshi gets excited and she rushes off to meet Meera. They are sharing a hearty laugh when Ammaji reprimands them for laughing loudly and says that girls should learn to laugh silently once they grow up. The cousins share a warm moment but Meera is lightly off. She goes to her room, locks the door and brings the stack of letters out from her bag. She tries reading one of them but is overwhelmed with emotions. At that moment, her inner consciousness makes an appearance and asks her why she is hell bent on learning about her Mom's past? And that even if she tried to help there would not be much difference. Meera tries to formulate a cohesive argument but fails.
Ammaji is sitting with the family members when Yash, her son comes and touches her feet. Ammaji raises both her hands to bless. Its as if she's blessing both her sons, even the dead one. Everyone is sorry and Ammaji mentions how even now she cant forget blessing her son. Sonakshi's Mom goes to Alaka's room, who is counting the holy beads, and enquiresa about Ammaji's medicines. Shloka tells her that its with Meera. He takes her to Meera's room and hands over the bag. Sonakshi's Mom is coming down the steps while Meera is carrying an idol of Lord Krishna to her room. She finds her bag missing and asks Shoka, who tells her that SOnakshi's Mom had taken it downstairs. She rushes downstairs but is met in the way with her Aunt who tells her that she has passed on the bag to Meera's Bua.
Ammaji and Yash are having a discussion with a driver who had got her daughter married, while she was in love with someone else. Ammaji says that the driver's daughter should return to her in-laws since after marriage, the in-laws house is the rightful palce for a bride. She also tells Yash that if everyone followed the dictates of their heart, then there would be no maryaada in the world.
At that moment, Bua comes in and hands over the bag to Ammaji. She picks up the stack of papers from the bag while trying to get her medicines, amd the stack falls on the gorund. Ammaji slowly picks up the letters. Meera stands transfixed rooted to the ground.
