Aradhya =Annoying

Hey guys 😊

This is my first topic in this forum. Okay so I was just watching the show today and detected something about Aradhya's character. So I am jotting down my observations .

Aradhya, our female lead wants a "beautiful" man , apparently milky white skinned person as her life partner since she is also a pretty princess !

I found this kind of behavior of hers annoying. I mean I can understand her dislikings for ugly people in her childhood but now when she is an adult , an educated and sophisticated one.. her this kind of thought that brown people are ugly, is bothersome to me. The usage of the word BROWN is also not appropriate and racist as all the brown people are not ugly and can be way more attractive than a white skinned person.

She has such extent of hatred/displeasure for dark skinned people that she dared to edit her Princi's picture for making her "fair" . And the way she acted all scared seeing Madhab was overdramatic !
I know the concept is a rip off from BEAUTY AND THE BEAST but to me she comes across as plain annoying , racist and immature person. And no, I am not liking her character.

How many of you are feeling this way?

It was an initial reaction to madhav. Later on in the office when she came for the job she was fine so I think it was just an initial reaction. Plus I feel that her parents have sheltered alot so that's why she has such thoughts.

More than annoying I find her vain as of now.. her parents never bothered to clear up her prejudices instead fueled them further.. which grew with her since her childhood..

She'll turn around as there is innate sweetness to her.. but it will be a slow gradual process.. I think Love will make her see the world with different perspective and will make her learn compassion which she lacks at the moment 😊

Im liking the way the show is shaping up and it will be great to see how Aaradhya loves someones (madhav's) personality than his looks. It will take time for her point of view to change but I feel working in the office with madhav is a first step to het changing her mindset.

I agree.. whatever we r seeing of her is an extended personality of her parents.. mostly her mother who encouraged her instead of correcting her.. I know that Aradhya is not saintly like the usual soap heroines but then she's not evil either.. she will turn around... but the process wud be slow coz this is a daily soap 😆

no i dont find aradhya annoying she is sweet n feel herself as princess n she belives that all princess get a fair n handsome prince n hopes to meet her princecharming inspite of all these i jus want to see how she falls in luv wid madhav n changes her thought that oly inner beauty matter...

Yes ! The parents ! They have ruined her ! 😡

I know she will change later on but still I can not fathom her hatred for brown skinned people especially when she was born and brought up in a country where majority have brown skin !

She even has friend who is brown skinned ! 😆

Good to see a flawed female lead compared to the mahan devis. But her attitude towards people with dark complexionmand her childish immaturity that people with good voice and heart will be good looking are very surpr ising.

Ha ha true that ! 😆 Atleast she appears as a human !
I am also looking forward to seeing how she gradually changes her mindset and understand only inner beauty matters ! 😃
