Ankita Lokhande appeals for help after house help’s daughter and friend go missing

Television actress Ankita Lokhande, famous for her role in Pavitra Rishta, is urgently appealing to the public after her house help’s daughter and the girl’s friend disappeared in Mumbai.

On Instagram, Ankita shared an post with images of the two missing girls, identified as Saloni and Neha, and informed her followers that they have been missing since July 31 at around 10?AM. The girls were last seen near the Vakola area of Mumbai. Ankita announced that an FIR has been filed at the Malvani Police Station, but there has been no trace of them since.

Describing them as family, Ankita wrote, “They are not just part of our home—they’re family. We are deeply worried.” She called upon the Mumbai Police and all Mumbaikars to help spread the word and offer any leads. She urged anyone who has seen or heard anything to contact the nearest police station immediately. Ankita emphasized, “Your support and prayers mean everything right now.”

Meanwhile, Mumbai police have confirmed that an FIR (C.R. No.?921/2025) has been lodged under Section 137 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, which pertains to minor kidnapping. The investigation is being led by PSI Prakash Gorad at the Malvani Police Station.

Ankita’s heartfelt appeal comes at a time when she had just celebrated her husband Vicky Jain and her mother’s birthdays. Despite the celebrations, her concern for Saloni and Neha took immediate priority.

On the work front, Ankita was last seen joining her husband Vicky on the reality show Laughter Chefs Season 2, where they became audience favorites. Since then, she hasn’t appeared in fiction TV shows, leaving fans eagerly waiting for her next television or OTT project.

With each hour passing, Ankita, family members, citizens, and the police remain hopeful. Now, it’s a city-wide concern, and many Mumbaikars are stepping in to share details and aid the search.
