Durgam asks Brhma to hand over all the 4 Vedas & it's knowledge.
Rishi Katyayan continues training the girls in Vedas.
Later Veda Vyas divided Vedas in 4 parts & were caked Veda Vyas. They are Rig, Yajur, Sam, Atharva Veda.
Durgam wants to be Veda's adhipati. Brhma tells him this is not right you'll not get anything from these Vedas so ask some other boon. If they were given to you balance of the World. Durgam says that's why he wants them, he wants to spread darkness in the World. Reminds him he is his prisoner. Brhma prays to Ma Durga, the Vedas you had given me for this World's welfare, I have to give them to this Asur, forgive me.
. Durgam takes away 4 Vedas from Brhma, says see all the Devi, Devatas , now all the intelligence of the people of this World is with him.
Devas, Narad, Brihaspati come to Vishnuji. Indra asks him to do something & save the brhmand.
He says whatever happens in this Sansar, happens with Mahamaya's wish, some good may be the outcome of this. You all should wait. Indra thinks his Indraloka will be in trouble now.
At the aashram, rishi Katyayan continues, says there are I lakh shlokas in all the $ Vedas, Whoever, Human, Devata, Danav, gets it's complete knowledge become immortal, that's why they are kept safe from Asuras & Danavas so they can not missuse it. Durgam seeing Vedas says he'll become ajeya now.
Diti comes to meet Durgam. He asks her why did Kalkeya's mother is here? He asks her the purpose of her coming here. Diti offers Durgam half of Patal Loka & asks him to work with Kalkeya for Asura's dominance over the World.
Rishi katyayan stops teaching for the day. Batuk looks worried. Katyayani asks him why is he looking worried. He says will Men accept Women getting educated? She says your & mine coming in this World is not only to kill Asuras & Danavas but also spread awareness of truth.
Durgam refuses Diti's offer, says he doesn't trust her, he is aware of what he did with Rambh, Karambh. He says she with Kalkeya can surrender to him, after winning all the 3 lokas, will keep Kalkeya in his service. Disgusted Diti goes back.
Batuk tells Katyayani it seems some big event, wrong is going to happen now. He senses it but can't point out. Katyaayni thinks do not worry I'll not let anything wrong happen.
Precap: All the rishis stop performing Yagya. Rishi Katyayan's Veda book turns blank. He tells the girls nothing good has turned out from studies till now, go away from here. Katyayani is thinking why is father behaving like this?
