This story starts from the point where shivam and taani are faking the relationship.
" How can you do this Rey''' you were responsible for her'..she was partnered up with you '.and you left her''.. that psycho killer is in this jungle''.you will be responsible if anything happened to her''.only you would be responsible." Rey was cursing himself like a lunatic while searching for Taani. This time you were an idiot, you made a mistake and '' what if Taani had to suffer for them'?
The college had planned a camp for all the students in a jungle, and two students were partnered up together, and as the fate had decided, it was Rey and Taani. He was happy that even because they had to abide every rule strictly, shivam was not around Taani. However, shivam kept interrupting them, and Rey was getting really irritated.
After reaching, they were supposed to go in different directions with their partners, after getting refresh….
Taani was washing her face, with facewash on her face, her eyes shut hard as her eyes had got some foam in them….she was trying to find the bucket of water and mug by using her hands when her hand touched someone's hands.
"Who's this…." A startled Taani asked.
It was shivam….he held her hand, entwined his fingers, and caressed her arm lustily and she tried to be away from that unbearable touch…..
Going close to taani, he said "sshh…. We have to act like this….like boyfriend and girlfriend….actually your friends are watching us….dont worry it's me…. And smile….dont make such strange faces, otherwise they'll doubt us." He lied as actually there was no one there.
And he brought his face close to her, cleaning her face with his own hands, taking his hands to her neck, putting behind her hair while touching her back….
Rey was passing by there when he had seen this…he was enraged….. the moment shivam touched her, he felt like destroying everything….he left them in anger.
When Taani's eyes were cleaned and she openes, she saw no one around, and pushed shivam a bit, and asked… " Kahan hai sab….aapne kaha tha…"
"Vo..vo…they just went…. Don't worry taani…till we are together, no one is gonna blame Rey." He said with a smirk and left her.
Then Rey came to her, in anger and said…. "Main nikal raha hoon, south ki direction mein…tumhe time mil jae toh aa jana."
"But Rey…" he didn't listened to her and left the place.
She too was about to follow when her cellphone beeped…the message was from their guide.
"A psycho rapist killer is in this area….so no one will move out….everyone shut themselves in their cottages and don't come outside till I inform."
"God….!! Rey….abhi abhi nikle hain….. mujhe jaana chahiye…..haan…agar maine sir ko bataya bhi to bhi vo Rey ko search karne abhi nahin jayenge….tab tak kahin der na ho jaye….nahin…main unhe kuch nahin hone de sakti…." She was tensed, she was worried….. she couldn't let anything happen to Rey….he's her love….her essence of life…. If anything happened to him, then…..
She ran behind Rey, sobbing and crying, losing her sanity almost, towards the direction where rey went…. And luckily….she found him, after walking a lot.
"Rey….Rey….Reyyy…" as soon as she saw him, she hugged him tightly….. tears started from her eyes… "Rey….aapko pata bhi hai….how afraid I was…I thought….Rey…"
Rey was stunned……he was shattered by the relationship of Taani and shivam…but right now Taani looked in such despair, fear, pain…..he wrapped his arms around firmly and protectively, taking her in his embrace, promising silently that till he's with her, tears wont make their way in her eyes ever.
"What happened Taani…why are you so troubled….?" Rey asked….
"yo…you…you di…diiidn't saw…..look" Taani said stammering and showed him the message.
"Are you insane…..i mean have you really lost it….how can you do this… how? How can you come in the jungle in such condition….what if something happened to you?" Rey lost his cool…..he was stunned to the depth of his soul when he read that message.
"Aapka phone nahin lag raha tha…. I was afraid….what if anything happened to you?" taani said through her sobs.
Rey was touched…..he could feel his eyes moist…. "You care for me so much taani…why…. Is it my imagination only, or you seriously love me…." He thought.
"Okay….don't cry….you are a bit silly….please don't cry…. let's go back now…." Rey said wrapping his arms around her.
But then…..they were confused…..they were lost.
"I'll come just now…let me see…if that's the way, across the river" to which taani hesitantly agreed, and Rey went towards the other side of river.
On the other hand Taani was waiting for Rey as .. and suddenly a hand raised and a syringe was injected in her body''. She felt dizzy and was dragged by that person''. The same psycho killer rapist'..
When Rey returned and saw the dragged footsteps of Taani, empty syringe''.. everything got clear in his mind''.it was the same psycho whom they were warned aginst''' first drugs, then a solitary place, tortures, rape and finally kill the girl with pouring acid over her whole body''. And he has just did his first step, was Taani going to be his victim'''?
On the other hand….. Taani was dragged by that maniac killer in a cottage…..she was gaining consciousness until then. However when her eyes, her body and her brain coordinated, she found herself tied on a chair, her hands and feet were tied with a steel wire tightly……….and blood was dripping from them. But the environment sickened her like hell…… there was dried blood and bits of human flesh here and there. But when the next moment, when she saw what was before her eyes….. she desired to kill herself……. There were acid bottles, knives, screw driver and what not……..she was horrified like hell… all she knew was that he was a psycho, who raped and killed the women after torturing them brutally. But the torture and brutally meant so much………. She was already feeling as if she had felt the zenith of the pain existed in the world…….. " No no……I can't take it anymore……… plz plz God kill me……..kill me……I don't wanna die after feeling so much pain……." Her inward voice cried ………..
Suddenly the door opened and a shadow entered…..it was the most horrible, cruel face Taani had ever seen in her life, his laughter was the only sound in the silence. He came slowly and opened the window….. moonlight entered in the room and tears shimmered like pearls on a beautiful face, Taani was sobbing endlessly……… she was unable to cry even…. Her heart was throbbing with pain, and she was just hoping that she die before anything more horrible happens to her……. For once she thought about Rey…… but then…." Taani Rey to nadi ke dusri side honge, aur agar is side aa bhi gaye to yahan tak pahunchna….ab to plz plz main aise hi mar jaoon to kitna achha ho……. I really can't take it anymore." Then that maniac bent down on his knees and moved towards Taani's face….. he grinned and said "Nahin nahin…..aise nahin rote…….and put his lips on her cheeks where tears were flowing ….Taani felt that disgusting touch of his rough and dry lips but next moment she screamed with pain. He had bitten her cheek so violently, that there were clear marks of his teeth on her face… her scream was so loud that it vibrated the whole environment…….. The maniac was angered more and buried his nails on her arms and scratched them hard….. held her collar and then tore into pieces……Taani was there crying helplessly….he picked a knife and first cut her hands a bit….in a way that the steel wire was completely red with her blood…..seeing this he laughed and opened her hands…..Taani was crying helplessly, screaming hard……he did the same with her feet ….. she tried to resist but this time she has lost her spirit. But suddenly then Taani thought of fighting……. No she wasn't going to submit……even if she has to die she will die after struggling…….she regained her spirits and then as he was on his knees….. she kicked him hard below the belt, kicked on his face, and quickly picked knife and acid bottle……. Then the maniac's laughter stopped for the first time…..he backed and started to run away….. Taani threw all the bottles on him as he was running…….. then she sank on the floor …... and started to think about what has just happened and what was gonna happen and started to cry. When she saw her bruised arms, torn clothes..she felt like killing herself. She shut down the window, door and candles and then there was completely dark………..
Suddenly door of the cottage was opened by someone with force……… he is back…..but this time I'm not gonna loose control…..she decided to fight….she won't let herself die through torture…she would rather choose to die struggling him….she decided to face him " ………. Door raho varna….nahin….is baar main tumse bachkar jaongi….Tumhe kya laga tum isi tarah masoom logon ki jaan se khelte rahoge……ab yahan se main jaongi aur tum nujhe rok nahin….." Taani said this and raised her leg to give him a hard kick but his hands held her foot, Taani raised her hand with a knife but he held the knife with his hand, threw it and took hold of her hand.
" Relax…….Taani..Taani it's me Rey Rey…………" Rey said.
"Rey ………." She said and threw herself on the floor loosely. Then Rey opened the window and in the moonlight saw Taani……… he had met that maniac on the way dripping in acid……. Running in pain and agony and had understood very well that only Taani could do it.
But how much Taani had suffered………..his eyes were full of tears for the first time so much.
He had just his vest on….. as his shirt was torn in the jungle, so he had thrown it in the way. He went to Taani…….. who was quite uncomfortable, scared and in pain……. And was sunken in silence. Rey sat near her and took her face out of her knees in which she had hidden herself, shrunken. "Taani Taani ab sab kuch thik hai ……….. dekho dekho meri taraf…plz plz" When she resisted, he cupped her face in his hands and made her to look into his eyes. The two pair of eyes, both full of tears, shared an eye lock, looking at each other……. And then Taani hugged Rey tightly….. Rey felt a shiver as her lips were on his neck……and she was close to her. He hugged her back tightly, caressing her hair……..and made her relax. Then he separated her, took off his vest, removed her torn shirt and put on the vest on her. He carefully caressed her cheek on which that monster had bitten hard, and then his tears fell on that cheek. Taani was lying next to him, with her head resting on his shoulder. She extended her arms and wiped it… he saw then the bruises and wounds on her wrists and wounds…… he held her hand, kissed it and looked at her. He took her head from his shoulder and placed it in his lap and caressed his forehead. Taani looked at him, got up and put her hand on his face and caressed it. Both of them came close, looking at each other, sharing momentary eyelocks……. They moved towards each other, Rey put his lips on her cheek, Taani closed her eyes, and then he dragged his lips smoothly until they touched her soft lips. They shared a soft kiss……a delicate but deliberate….he didn't wanted to hurt her. Then they hugged each other, look into each other's eyes and their eyes said all that they wanted to say to each other.
In the morning, when they got up, their hands were interlocked, Taani's head was on his chest and there was a happiness on both's face. When they got up…. Both smiled at each other…… and then Rey took her face in his hands and asked… " You brought tears in my eyes back….. a sign that I am alive too….. Would you like to be with me for the rest of the life…….. I wanna live…..with you forever…. I love you Taani"
Taani looked at his face and remembered all the moments they shared……. The soft corner and her secret love which she had secretly and carefully hide in herself. She looked again at his eyes……… and put her lips on his lips, held him close to her……… Rey took his hands at her waist, wrapped his hands around her and deepened the kiss. When they were short of breath, they broke the kiss and looked at each other. Then Rey asks naughtily "Taani does it means a yes………." And smiled.
Taani looked at him……smiled and said…… "Let me think ……. it was a no……. a big no." and smirked.
Rey brought her close and said…. "Really….. I don't think so…..and if you care about me so much…then toh I'm not gonna believe you on this…. You are mine" at which, Taani smiled pecked his lips And then both smiled.
