Amitabh Bachchan will return to Bhopal after 2 years for the shoot of Satyagraha
Popularly called the famous son-in-law of Bhopal, Amitabh Bachchan's arrival in the city is being awaited with bated breath.
Our sources say that the actor, who will be shooting for Prakash Jha's next film Satyagraha in the city of lakes, is expected to receive a rousing welcome. The heritage hotel that will host Big B is being given a special touch and an exclusive menu has been designed keeping his personal taste in mind.
A source says, "Bachchanji is returning to Bhopal after two years. His wife Jaya's family resides in the city. He will stay at the heritage Noor-Us-Sabah Palace Hotel and its Gauhar Taj suite is being renovated." The entire decor of the suite, where AB will be staying from this month onwards to April, has been designed keeping in mind the royal heritage of the city.
According to the general manager of the hotel Amit Singh, the suite has been furnished with carpets made from New Zealand wool. Designer lamps and heritage paintings have been fitted. Singh says, "He is a very simple and non-interfering guest and we all are waiting for him to finally arrive." According to a source from the city, on his last visit to the hotel Big B had made some suggestions that have been duly followed. "There is a separate high-speed Internet connection as he likes blogging and surfing the net," adds the source.
Insiders at the hotel say Big B enjoys staying there so much that he even recalls the name of every member of the staff.
When Mr Bachchan had visited the hotel last, Chef Ziyad was put in-charge of his meals. And this time too, the chef will take over the responsibility of looking after the guest.
Our source says, "Big B likes curd with every meal along with paneer tikka, cheese chilly toast, aloo gobi and bhindi ki sabzi. He is a pure vegetarian and likes sprouted salads. He eats very less at night."

Kareena is shooting for Satyagraha in Bhopal
Kareena Kapoor is in Bhopal to shoot for Prakash Jha's Satyagraha. Husband Saif Ali Khan's extended royal family is also settled in the Madhya Pradesh capital.
A source says, "Kareena is staying at the same hotel where Amitabh Bachchanji will be received. The red carpet was rolled out for her with a grand welcome ceremony including aarti, teeka and garland."
A Bhopal-based source tells us, "Kareena prefers to be simple and her taste in food is also similar."
Saif gifts solitaire Joining Bebo in Bhopal will be husband Saif and mother-in-law Sharmila Tagore.
The couple will bring in Valentine's Day in the city. And according to a source close to the couple, Kareena has already received her gift - a solitaire!
