Lets beging with today's update...

A small survey has been taken to know how the viewers feel after the decision that finals will be between all the 3.. Almost all of them are satisfied with the decision and agree to this decision taken by the judges and the organizers...

The 3 finalists land on the stage in a cabin waving hands for all the audiences... They all are really happy and they have been given a gift also by World Space... World Space radio is presented to all the 3 finalists...

Today's Guest:

Today's guest is none other than many's favourite singer and also MD.. Its none other the most famous - The Global Rockstar as he says: Himesh Reshammiya... He sings 2 songs zara jhoom-jhoom and All day all night teri yaad sataayein teri... All the kids cheer him up as he too lands in a cabin on the stage...

Himeshji calls SRGMP as his home and says he is very happy to be here when someone calls.. He says he has come here for Gajji and very happy to meet Shaan... He also says that the kids are more than his life and he loves them all...

Today's Rounds:

There will be 3 rounds today.. First round is the favourite songs of the contestants themselves, Second round is the songs selected by their respective mentors... Yesterday - Abhijeet chose Sameer, Alka chose Sanchita and Bappida chose Diwakar for training... So, the contestants will sing the songs of the judges own favourite songs... The third round will be songs of Himeshji...

Participant Number 1 - Sameer



Sameer has put a cap and he says he has done it as Himeshji is the guest... he sings kyun aaj kal... He has got 210513 votes

Grades and Comments:

Himesh: Confidence was very good... In his own style he says: Outstanding, Mindblowing, Fantastic... Its really long time listening to this... 😛

Bappida: Very good, excellent... Gives A+

Alka: When you sang mujhe pyaar hain, I thought you are truly in love.. she asks him Did you think of the girl whom you love? Sameer says Abhijeetda taught him... Alka praises him a lot... Gives A+

Abhijeet: I taught him romance and nothing else... He sang very well... As he has trained him there is no grades given by him...

When asked Sameer why public should vote him by Shaan - he says I am the youngest among the 3 and I am cute and I am the favourite of all the judges... So, vote for me...

Sanchita sings Kabhi Alvida na Kehna title song... Marvellous it was as if Alka was singing it... She has got 188764 votes

Himesh: Alka is right person to judge this song.. I dont have words to express how i feel... As I am not saying it doesnot mean you have sung well... you have sung as good as Sameer infact more than Sameer...

Abhijeet: It was not as if Alkaji was not singing.. He says if you want to listen to this song you can dial Alkaji's number and you can listen in hello tunes.. he starts giving the number of hers.... Gives A+

Bappida: You sang just as Alka sang.. Gives A+

Alka: She sang well, I just gave her very few tips, rest she did it.. She says: Sanchita, tum kabhi alvida na kehna..

Sanchita says she is the only girl and that she thinks she has all potential to win this competition and so asks everyone to vote for her...

In the beginning Diwakar says hello to Himeshji and asks him to sing a song for him.. Himeshji sings Aap Ki khatir song... Himeshji says he has heard a lot about diwakar and that he is the best..

Alka: I expect more from you.. You sang well, but one or two notes were not good, concentrate on that.. Gives A

Bappida: Except for one or two notes, everything was good.. You have to practice more....

Bappida: The antara was good but not the mukhda... Gives A

Alka: She comments on the PREYASI(lover) word he had sung... You have sung in false voice.. Do not sing like that.. It has to be more soft... Gives A

Abhijeet: I thought he can sing welll that is why gave him this song.. Very difficult song and he sang well but not too good...

Sameer asks himeshji to sing the tu yaad na aaye aisa koi din nahin... He sings and sameer says himeshji is good singer, actor and also MD

Alka says she has given this song to sanchita as she feels this will suite her voice and this is the song very close to her heart...

Himesh: She has all the qualities of a good singer.. She can become another Alka in the future...

Bappida: Antara was good just like Sameer... Gives A

Abhijeet: Marvellous job... He asks her when she got this song.. She says just one day before and Abhijeet says even great singers cannot sing this so well.. Gives A+

Alka: Sang well, but you could have done much better in some notes... You were bit afraid in the beginning, but later improved

Himesh: Everyone is singing very well... It is very tough to decide... Diwakar was also good... you were outstanding...

Alka: It was very hurried... You are much much much capable... You can do much better... There was some problem in your throat today.. Gives B+

Abhijeet: Again there was a bad selection of song.. You can do better.. Gives B+

Bappida: There was some problem in the throat... That is why he didnot sing upto the expectation

Third Round:

In the third round all the 3 finalists sang together.. They sang Himeshji's song... They sang Jhalak Dikhlaja from Aksar... Not very impressive performance...

Comment By Himeshji:

Himeshji praised all the 3 contestants for singing so well... He says with this song many ghosts come 😆😆😆 but you are kids and so you have made all the ghosts run from here... 😆😆😆

Update As On 20th October 2006

The show starts with the title song and the stage is set for another Performance Round... Shaan enters the stage and welcomes all the viewers and audiences...

He then invites Sameer, Diwakar and Sanchita to the stage... They all take the entry from the back stage... Everyone are excited...

Shaan then introduces the Terrific Trios... All the 3 wish good luck for all the 3 participants and also wish their own students good luck...

Bappida wishes Diwakar and says jamkar gao...

Alka asks Sanchita to keep the flag of the female contestant high

Abhijeet wishes Sameer good luck and says sing in such a way that all the viewers keep saying Sameer - you win this contest...

Shaan then introduces 2 guests...

Pritham - He says the standard of the show is very high.. He says all are good singers and wishes them good luck...

Ismail Darbar - Its like returning back home... Wishes all the contestants good luck...

After a break, Shaan introduces Debojith... Shaan also says this is the round today... Today's round is that each contestant will be singing with some singer...

Debo and Sanchita sing Vaada Raha Pyar se Pyarka ab hum na honge juda... It was a real good performance... Was really nice to see Debo back and Sanchita also maintained the sweetness in the voice...

Grades and Comments:

Ismail - Everytime I hear Debo's singing... On a humorous note he says - aaj bhi bardaasht karliya... But he asks Debo why he chose a low scale... For Sanchita he says - she has sweetness in the voice and has bright future...

Pritham - Everything has been mentioned by Ismailji...

Bappida - For sanchita - you sang in sur... But the confidence was missing... Gives A

Abhijeet - For sanchita - You didnot impress the way you had to... Scale was low... You are a high range singer... Gives A

After this performance, Shaan introduces Akhilesh and Priya Gill who have come here for the promotion of the movie Piya Tose Nina Laga Re.. It seems that Vinit has sung a song in this movie because after their introduction, Vinit sings a song from the backstage and then enters the stage... Vinit says he will be performing with Diwakar...

Vinit and Diwakar





They sing Aashique Banaya Aapne... Today they both were very good... Diwakar was on par with Vinit in scale and the song matched both of them...

Grades and Comments:

Ismail - While singing, the orchestra stopped for a movement towards the end of the song and Diwakar still handled the part well... This is intelligent singing...

Pritham: Sang in a original voice... Vinit sang in the style in which song was composed but Diwakar sang in his original style

Alka - The voice was very fresh today and sang well.. Gives A

Abhijeet - It was as if you both were singing for each other... Diwakar, you did a grt job... You proved yourself today..

Bappida - It was like younger Steve singing the song

Shaan introduces Ishitaa Arun.. She requests the viewers to vote for the lil champs as they need it...

Sameer(with Debo and Vinit) :




Sameer starts singing with Debo first - They both sing Dumma Dumma from Debo's own album... But Sameer forgets the lyrics and most of the song is sung only by Debo... Abhijeet interrrupts and speaks that Sameer has been given a wrong choice of song where he is not able to maintain the confidence... This song is not given in advance... So, Sameer is not able to perform upto the expectation...

Pritham also comments on it and says his confidence is low... ID requests Gajji to give him the song where he is confidence of... He also says this is the first time Sameer has lost confidence...

Now, Sameer says he was first supposed to sing with Vinit, But it changed suddenly...

Sameer now sings Aap ki kashish with Vinit.. It was really good to see him perform so well...

After the performance Shaan asks Sameer and others to say if they have any problem before in hand... Shaan also says this song was given to sameer last night and not just now... He asks sameer to inform before itself if he is not confident with any song...

Bappida - There was over confidence and this was there in some other rounds also... Gives A

Sanchita sings Akhiyaan na maar kabhi yaar mundiya... It was such a fast song and she managed it really well...

Ismail - The tempo of the song is very high and you managed it really well.. A big salute to this girl...

Abhijeet - Tumne apne aapko Grade se Upgrade karliya hain...

Alka - You are keeping the flag of the girls high... You are like a Red Bull today - She is wearing a red dress today and that is why she said so...

Pritham - Sunidhi sang in much lesser tempo but sanchita has maintained the same tempo as in audio... Gives A

Diwakar sings halka halka sa yeh nasha... He sang really well...

Ismail - Your voice has a nasha - you have a soulful voice... Whenever you sing, it directly touches the heart..

Alka - you sang well but could have been softer...

Abhijeet - If i had to give any grade today, I would have given A+... Sang very well and he is really proving himself...

Alka - He needs some doses... Only when we are harsh with him, he comes with great performance..

Sanchita sings Hum Dil de chuke sanam title... wow!! wonderful performance... 👏👏 It was very soulful and really enjoyed it...

Pritham - Superb performance... Brilliantly rendered...

Bappida - wonderful performance

Alka - I am still in the same mood and not able to come out of the air which you had created...

Abhijeet - Alkaji is still there, but im high today.. you sang really well...

Ismail - There was a mistake made by the orchestra during the antara... But Sanchita didnot mind that and she continued her singing and didnot stop and managed it very well.. Again salute her for this... Gives A+

Diwakar sings tadap tadap ke is dil from hum dil de chuke sanam... A very very wonderful performance indeed 👏👏👏

Pritham - You have your own style... You rock...

Bappida - You sang very well today... Diwakar thanks Bappida for his wishes in the beginning of the show...

Alka - Asks Diwakar if he was confident of his singing... She says an artist somehow knows that he has done well... Diwakar says yes and that there was some vibration striking him...

Abhijeet - You sang in your own style and made this song as your own song...

Ismail - You made me relise as to why I have not made the ending of the song as you have done today... He praises him and goes to the stage to hug him... Gives A+

Sameer sings chand chupa badal mein... He was good too...

Grades and Comments:

Pritham - sang very well...

Bappida - Felt like there was some problem with the throat... But sang well...

Abhijeet - I am a bit disappointed today... You didnot do justice to the song...

Ismail - When i was recording this song, I was able to imagine both Salman and Ash while recording and today also while Sameer was singing I could imagine both of them... There was lot of romance in his expressions.. Alka says its all because of his girl friend... Ismail Gives A+ and says he has sung both Ash and salman's part and he has sung a duet and so he deserves an A+

Abhijeet says he thought it was a solo song and so he commented like that and now he would like to take back those words and says Sameer has sung very welll...

After this there is a vote appeal by all the 3 contestants and Shaan announced that the episode of tomoro's will be in Banaras..

Update As On 21st October 2006

Today's episode shooting has taken place in Banaras Aka Varanasi... Baranas is famous for manythings... Musical wise - Ustad Bismillah Khan belongs to Banaras - his hometown...

Little champs arrive in Banaras, and as they arrive they get a huge welcome and also they sign autographs in the airport...

The little champs also pay their tribute to Ustad Bismillah Khan... They also go for many temples and go to the banks of the pure Ganga River and take a trip of Banaras...

Now, for the stage: The stage is all set... The stage is decorated with diyas and the ground where the shooting takes place is also decorated with lot of lights... The whole stage is lighted with diyas and electric lamps...

Shaan, Sanchita and Sameer enter the stage along with many other kids who dance for the song Happy Diwali sung by the 3.... After a while, Shaan brings Diwakar in a Rickshaw and all of them sing together Happy Diwali...

Shaan says few words about Banaras... He first pays tribute to Ustad Bismillah Khan, then Munshi Premchand, about the pan, the river Ganga etc...

Shaan then invites the terrific trios...

Bappida says his guru is from Banaras and he miss Ustad Bismillah Khan today and pays tribute to him...

Alka says her mother is from Banaras and its her home town...

Abhijeet is wearing a traditional dhoti and kurta today.. he says "Hum jis desh ke waasi hain jis desh mein ganga behti hain" and Banaras is kentra for manythings...

Today's Guest: Today's guest is Manoj Diwari - he has mastered in Bhojpuri bhasha and he says its a very specil moment for him as this is the same stage where he had done his first stage performance

Show on 27th will be in Delhi (from Pragathi Maidhan) where we can also see our honourable ex-prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and on 28th it will in Mumbai - Andheri Sports Club

The stage is looking very bright with colors and lightings.. Its an open air stadium and there is lot of crowd in the stadium...

Group Performance:

What a start for the show... 👏 Diwakar starts to sing Oh Palanhare from Lagaan... Then joins Sanchita and Sameer.. What a performance by the 3 finalists... Then Sanchita starts Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram (Kuch Kuch Hota Hai version).. Again a wonderful performance... No one can miss this performance...

Shaan introduces the terrific trios and requests them to say a few words...
Bappida - We have become like a family... Hope this show lasts for a longer time... We all are connected through heart but one day we all have to depart... But it was a very good journey and thanks all of them for making it.. He sings dil mein ho tum for the Delhiites

Alka - It was a very memorable and emotional journey for me.. This place Delhi is my in-laws place and my husband is from here... I am a lot connected to this place...

Abhijeet - He says Delhi is his in-laws place too and says This show can never end... After sometime, the contestants will become great playback singers, they will get scoldings from me, I will fight with Bappida and Alkaji will give gifts... After this Alka says after the show we will send Abhijeetji to mental asylum...

Journey of SRGMP lil champ is shown.. Starting from the beginning of the Audition round till yesterday's Delhi performance... They showed Shraddha, Pawni and Abhro's exit... Then Banaras episode and now Delhi episode is being telecasted... Pawni's bheedi jalayle, Diwakar's bijuriya and choti si kahaani, Sameer's khaike pan banaras waala, Abhro's hasti rahe tu hasti rahe, tera jadoo chal gaya, Pawni's exit song - jeena yahaan marna yahaan are some of the performances being shown presently...

Delhi Show - Yesterday's shows all performance is being telecasted now...

Grand Finale Begins

The stage is looking really good... Full of lights every where and the whole stadium is totally brightened... There is huge crowd 👏👏👏
Shaan enters the stage and asks who will be the winner either Thandi hawa ka jhonka Sameer or Hindustan ki beti Sanchita or The walker - Diwakar... The crowd is also really excited...
