It was wrong to show Asad not realizing his own fault, he only saw his fault being that he slapped the wrong person. Even though it is horrible to not realise your fault was violence in the first place, many men like Asad's character, do not realise this. The show did not portray the negativity associated with slapping a woman, which was their biggest fault.


Yup, and given what they promised... Breaking myths about Muslim women, empowerment and all that jazz, you can imagine my horror at this insensitive treatment! 😕
