Everyone has their opinions to "the slap". Before i start my message, I will say that scene was shocking. I actually did not believe it happened and I had to rewind the scene. Still I was shocked.
Now I want to know how this will effect Zoya.
Right now Zoya is in shock and out of guilt for Dilshad she may not say anything - right now.
But I need there to be not just one scene but many scenes regarding this physical abuse. The writers need to show this was wrong.
If Asad ever realizes what he did was horribly wrong and goes to speak to Zoya, Zoya needs to show how this changes everything.
Because it does change everything. Whether Zoya was at fault or not - it does not matter - she was slapped.
If that happened to me, i would feel physically uncomfortable with that person. My views on that person would also change. It is logical.
I need Asad not to just apologize but to see how Zoya will flinch or move away from him. I need Zoya to tell him he was wrong.
And oh God, if Dilshad ever found out what her perfect son did - imagine the shame she would feel!
I really hope the writers follow through with this and send the right message.
