Devastation resulting in outburst-NATURALLY HUMAN

When a human being is in the verge of a total loss, especially when the question is about life or death, rationality, sanity, virtuality and everything else for that matter takes a backseat. The human being in question is looking only at what the present is holding and what had caused the situation, as the future for the situation apparently looks really bleak.

What could one do when he sees the mother *almost* losing the battle of life? What could he do when he is rendered totally helpless? He did see it coming, and he did warn of consequences. It is not his fault totally and it is not her fault totally either. Things could not have happened if the two took better decisions and if the two trusted each other and not let the ego and anger play between them. On either side, the intention for whatever their action was very much justifiable. It is also true that they could have handled it better but after all they are humans. Humans do not act and decide after working out all permutations and combinations at dire situations, or do they always?

Now the situation is that he wants to do something, in fact everything possible to change what has happened. To rollback time. But how? He feels incapacitated. He wants to hurt himself and hurt others as much to better the situation. Can he? He can console his sister and boost her spirit which is the utmost need of the hour, but who does he have to console and care for and put back faith and say "Don't lose heart and everything is gonna be alright, Asad!"

He had to fight back his devastated being, he had to check his anger that kept mounting out of control because of his helplessness, for the *betrayal* for having trusted, for knowing what was coming and not having taken the complete onus to stop it with all that it could have taken, for being hurt because of the inner turmoil of giving in to a new feeling that is still daunting and confusing where by overlooking the danger that was lurking, for trying as hard to pull back the shattering self when things are flowing like sand caught between the fist. What can he do? He needed the outburst!

He needed to show that he was at the edge. Any human being given the situation forgets self and reacts and expresses his state of mind momentarily and impulsively. That is very natural. If the situation was reverse and if Zoya was in Asad's situation, I would have felt the same too.

Think of the day when Rashid slapped Ayaan. Wasn't that a physical abuse too? Why would only physical blow hurt a human being? The day when Razia stripped Dilshaad of her honour in the theatre with words so mean, I felt that was more derogatory for a woman. The treatment that Zoya underwent when Akram was forcing Zoya for marriage was atrocious. That was physical abuse. What Mariam underwent was physical and mental abuse. Zoya fighting for Mariam and Asad fighting for Zoya against all odds at many instances shows the character they are.

The situation they are right now in needs more time and understanding. "Almost" losing a life of a dear one, CAN WE REALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT IT IS? I think we must just watch what the CVs have in their mind and not become cynical about every issue they show. They have a roadmap laid down clearly and they have been entertaining us. Just a scene cannot vouch for their take on what's right or wrong and whether they are breaching what's human or not. Here it is NOT a question of man versus woman, it is just a human being's natural emotional outburst.

I agree that no situation warrants physical abuse of any kind but abuse of mental or physical nature goes beyond control when a human being is stretched beyond limits, the abuse could be to self or others. And that happens everyday, at many situations of the day, in everyone's life. How we handle the post trauma with self and others makes a difference.

How one mends/corrects his wrongdoing going forward is what is to be seen. And that is the clean entertainment that the CVs and PH are promising. I would like to wait, watch and enjoy!

I love this show. I want to say that "I LOVED KSG, yesterday even more than the other days" He raises the bar and sets a new record so that he can break it all over again himself. Surbhi was awesome, and I loved Dilshad's immobile act too.

Not an iota of complaint about yesterday's episode from an ardent QH fan. GUL, QH is my first show of yours and I have become your great fan!

Brilliantly put,I really have nothing much to add.You have analysed it from an objective point of view and put it across wonderfully.I really don't see how the way Asad behaved was out of his character in anyway.I don't wish to debate on right and wrong but I totally understand where he comes from.He sure is flawed but he is real. The whole episode was executed to perfection that it made me feel anyone in that place would have done the same.I refuse to judge Asad based on how he reacted when his whole world was crashing down in front of him.And he did walk away from her but Zoya following him there at the wrong timing triggered it in him and he snapped. And maybe this is the exact reason he is trying to turn his back to any feelings towards her,he knows he can be hurtful but that's how he is.I am looking fwd to seeing how everything plays out in the future.

@aparna: You are so right. I missed that bit of detail there. The execution is so beautiful. They did not miss showing his control of emotions by showing him walk away totally ignoring her. You brought that detail so beautifully. Thank you.

Thanks dear. I have learnt to enjoy the whole package than to pick bits and pieces. The latter leaves a bad taste in the long run. Spoils the fun.
