Asad has degraded...insulted...humiliated Zoya a numerous times...but today he crossed the line...he hit her and that is disgraceful...a gentleman never hits a woman ...no matter what he is going through...Yes...his mother is fighting for life and he has the impression that it is Zoya's fault ...but he had no right to hit her...

Asad's behavior today falls in the category as a form of battery in domestic violence...I work in a domestic violence shelter...and every time this happens to a woman we suggest that person to walk out of the house because the path always begins with one push or a slap...and it never stops.

It is unfortunate that Gul khan is promoting such a haneous crime like domestic violence and is actually trying to justify the fact that Asad has the right to slap Zoya because he is suffering...

Domestic violence is a shameful act and it cannot be justified in any circumstances.

Physical or mental abuse of ANY SORT cannot be justified.

Forget Ms. Gul, I'm worried that the vast majority are asking us to look at the circumstances in which this happened!

IT'S WRONG NO MATTER WHAT!

She's not promoting it, she's showing things that do happen. And we can all see it's wrong and under what circumstances it's been done under. If anything she's making people aware about how not to handle things.

I hope to God that she shows Asad's regret and apology.

i think Gul has always promoted domestic violence...in all her shows...she promotes it as passion usually...but today she has promoted it as Asad's frustration or anger. But the point is domestic violence is wrong in any circumstances...the difference between being a human and an animal...is basically morality...and Asad has proved today that he has none.

Hi Priyanka...so glad your out here today!I am seething with absolute rage...I know this is just a fictional show, but come on...what message are they trying to give out?Why glorify this kind of violence as a man's passion, angst.pain or whatever you want to call it.You are very right in saying that it always starts off with a slap or a push and then going on to think that it's license of their rights to carry out this sort of violence.Priyanka I work with women who suffer at the hands of domestic on a daily basis too and to see all this up close and personal is not a very nice thing. These women suffer terribly physically and mentally and it's so easy for people out here to say that the situation was such that it was justifiable but try putting ones self through a situation like this and then say it's justifiable! What's more upsetting is there are women out here trying to see it in a light hearted and even in a humourous light and saying that Zoya going to console him was just not good timng. He could atleast just shouted at her stated the fact that he thinks it is all her fault for his mother's condition, but no...it had to be taken on another level and that was no little slap, that was more the fact that he full fledgedly hit her, and that too, with such force that I couldn't stop myself from shuddering. After Asad's first sct of agresion/violence of holding Zoya's neck, I really was hoping not to see the same sort of thing repeated again by Asad.I rwally dnt know what to make or think of Asad's character anymore...even if he is shown to repent later...is it really going to make everthing alright?
If Zoya has any self respect left she really needs to walk out of the Khan household asap!
