Well said! You have my fullest support and thank you for speaking up! 20 years in this field and it stuns me how young people are justifying this as behavior and some are even getting excited and turned on about thinking this is a sign of masculinity.

thanks...it's very concerning to me too the way young ppl are defending this kind of behavior...I hope they have a way to educate the youngsters about appropriate behavior in a relationship. With everything going on on India...it's very important that such inappropriate behavior isn't shown in national television...

A woman means gul mata can only kill woman means her creation zoya. N dont worry she will continue this detesting humiliation in the form of domestic violence as we ipkians n specially khushi fans suffered a lot about these stuffs.

thanks...I still remember the days I literally suffered to see Khushi manhandled like a piece of garbage...thrown outside the poolside like a lonely dog...that incident actually encouraged me to join the forum. You are absolutely right...Zoya's humiliation is going to continue and later we are going to get a 5 sec apology...it's pathetic.

Absolutely! Zero tolerance is what we need.

If this sounds hyperbolic, it's too bad.

What we have seen today is slap in the face of all those women who have faced violence and all those who have been fighting the violence ... it's truly obscene.

trust me you don't sound hyperbolic at all...I am fuming with rage. Women has to learn to stand up and if Zoya doesn't walk out of the house after this...I will stop watching this show.

Second that! Hate that they're palming off domestic violence in the name of passion!

There are so many ways of expressing anger. And lashing out physically at someone is not the right way of doing it.

I'm disgusted the more and more I think about this.

Unfortunately this forum is flooded with women endorsing this slap as a haq, a right, and that we only slap those who are own...like Zoya's a piece of property that Asad has his right over whom he can slap at his will.

Dera Laila,
It is not about whether a slap is right or wrong.

Any act of violence is wrong.

The question is whether it is JUSTIFIABLE.

There is a big difference.
A father should NEVER hit his son. It is punishable by law some where, acceptable somewhere, some religions even advocate it.
'Spare the rod and spoil the child'

All I was trying to do was trying to see Asad's view point.
He is not a woman hater. He is not a male chauvinist. If he was that, he wouldn't have apologised to her after Akram. In fact, he was going to apologise again, when she started her 'judgemental' comments and got him bugged. Before that she had accused him not even apologising when he was going to do just that!

Any way, we all know that he will apologise and that Zoya will not 'expect' an apology this time. She is not angry, she is disappointed in him- and HIS ASSESSMENT OF HER.

So,
Do you mean to say that all people who discipline their children end up murderers?

I agree most murderers start that way, but the reverse is not a sensible statement.

You cannot GENERALISE people like that. ZOYA WOULD CALL YOU JUDGEMENTAL>

And any way, you cannot make sense of Asad or Zoya- when that happens...
STOP...Take a deep breath...OPEN YOUR EYES...Stop thinking you are right ...start wondering if there is any point in the other POV.

OTHERWISE you have simply missed the BUS!
