I doubt he is RKT's son... lol why would he beat up Samar so badly if he was his... he might be sent be sent by RKT as in the real Nitish Katra (Nimai in the show) murder case, the father (Rajjan on the show) and Vikas Yadav (Samar on the show) didn't kill Nitish... Vikas and his cousin did (Samar and some guy who hasn't been introduced in the plot) but maybe you might be right... Dev just might be Samar's cousin... But I don't think they followed the plot anyways because in the actual murder case Bharti Yadav (Sayali in the show) did not testify against her brothers... but in the show Sayali wants Samar in the gallows!!! She wants Samar dead, she wants RKT behind bars, that officer suspended. So maybe.. but falling in love with Sayali will probably be the reason for Dev's entry as stated in the article... but that article said his name would be Om... My reasoning is Paakhi was more maginified with Dev's entry... so the CV's could have a comic relief from all the drama... and since Samar is also a main lead... they probably wanted a good main lead to balance the leads out after Nimai died!

Started watching the show cuz of AB!

Dev is definitely not RKT's son! however there is some mystery behind his sudden apearance, he is in all probabilities Nimai's friend and my grey cell (which usually over works) makes me think Dev has idea and some proof too about Nimai's murder which he would probably reveal at the right time, and as of now he is here only to protect the Rajhaans family.
