The reality of life

At the onset, please note that this post is not meant to bash any character/actor/CV, etc. It is all about ME, what I feel, and what I hope for.

I would love it if this post doesn't turn into a verbal battlefield.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I don't know if this is the right place for such a post, but I was deeply saddened by the behavior of the Singhs last night.

For me, the adage "blood is blood" (and all other relationships water) was proven last night.

A girl who was wronged by the dictates of society all those years ago seems to have been forgotten by the lady who claims to be her mother.

Said lady just needed to get her own son back into her fold to seemingly forget the girl she claims to be her daughter. I will never forget the face she pulled when her husband took Anandi's name.

The Singhs seem to be hoist by their own petard. Their blind faith and love in their son follows a vicious circle. I do hope they are not setting themselves up for yet another round of dejection.

However, how is that so different from real life? Everywhere you look are examples of the in-law really being the out-law. There is no pleasing any of the two parties. Each positive step taken is regarded as due right, and every negative step taken (even mistakenly) is considered a crime.

No matter how badly behaved our progeny are, in public we only praise them (regardless of how we treat them in private). And, when that progeny's spouse arrives, we see negativity only in the spouse.

This is the story of innumerable houses. It is a classic story of a mother hen with her chicks. She just gathers those chicks under her wings and then sits on them to keep them safe from the big bad world. The rest of the whole wide world out there can take a walk, and see if she cares.

So, why am I sad when I know this reality? We are only being shown what we see everyday.

But, the thing is that BV is different. The story is different. The characterization is different. And our hopes from BV are different.

The Singhs have always been made out to be a larger than life family.

When DS was bad, she was really, really bad. I, for one, hated her to the core for what she did to choti Anandi. But when redemption arrived, few loved her more than I did (though I do accept she is capable of flipping cartwheels at any given time).

Sumi was the sweet one, taking the place of Anandi's real mother, loving her, and nurturing her through her times of travail.

Bhairon was the ultimate, fantasy father - kind, loving, caring, not blind to the faults of his progeny, and capable of taking harsh stands.

Inspite of the face Sumi pulled yesterday, I am hoping (against hope) that the CVs do not denigrate her character and show her to be the proverbial mother-in-law.

Bhairon will pull through. I do not see him turning coat at all.

Ira, aah Ira, kaan ki kacchi though she is, I do not blame her for yesterday's anger in the precap. A newly wed couple does spend its first festivals in the boy's house. However, I am also praying that the CVs do not turn this track into one from a Kekta serial.

About Sanchi, I have nothing to say at all. She is a caricature.

So, all in all, as I look forward to doing another LU today, I wish that the CVs were just having an off day and we get to see what we long to see - a strong, sensitive story line, with easy-to-empathize-with characters, and a story that builds hope for the future in countless others.

PS: A strong dose of Ansh would, of course, be the icing on the cake. And, Jagya/Shriti Jha/Gauri fans, I wish that your (plausible) wishes all come true as well.

AMEN

Itna gussa ginu😲
its the fact j is their weakness...but it was their strong will power they stood for the right coz j didnt leave any option for them...he stoop to the lowest level...now their son is back to right path...so they r back to loving mode...
Abt feelings for anandi...it is the fact...she is not the daughter...she earned it but she will never take the place same to j...n she knows it very well n thats y she feels 'karz ehesaan' for singhs...
Now feeling left out..it wont happen but things wont be smooth...wese v kahan use haveli main rehena hai...she will b in her home with her hubby 😉
now abt larger than life...singhs!!! They r good ppl but not mahaan..they have their hidden desire too...somehow acceptable for me...
N if shiv wud havent in picture...they wud have EB anandi to the exteem limit to accept j back...i have no doubt...sumi indeed went to mumbai to brng j bavk knowing the fact he was living with another girl...her logic 'ho jata hai esa...dur hai ghar se...apni patni se toh galati ho jati hai...sab bhula k chal ab'😆 it was j who didnt leave any option by saying throw anandi out...
So they cant wrong anandi but anandi cant get the sole focus...

Kya ginu..it is not wrost like ds asked jg to stay in haveli n said she accept g as her dil in front if anandi...there was a hidden agenda of ds to bring j back to a showing the diff between g and a...well anandi didnt know that...she thought ds indeed accept jg..just imagine what she went through by hearing the line...
Priority is j always...its him who didnt leave any option...they went to the extreem to bring him back...without thinking what a wud have been gone through...
I am not saying they dont love anandi but j's case is diff...

That is also what I am saying.

I am saying that so far we were hoping that they loved A equally, but that is not the case. And that is the reality of life, which A will have to accept and make the transition to her new life😊

Ohh they love her but i cant say equally..thats i never feel...they r human...they can ignore few things but cant throw their all principles out...thats y they chose anandi ...
There were many arguments singhs r too mahaan...i was like where...they r good ppl but not mahaan...whem bhiron put divorce issue in front of family..sumi's 1st reaction was ...if divorce will happen the last ray of hope of j's return will end too...😆
So its not like cvs show a 360 degree turn here...its always there...sometimes hidden n sometimes open...

You have been a regular BV watcher, so you know them well. But, I watched the choti A bit, then stopped when J was going negative. Started rewatching only after SRS entered the show, so for me, Sumi is a shocker. DS was always a big Q.
