Is the Kajol-SRK pairing overrated?

Noone seems to be excited about them coming again for one final movie. After Dilwale, their pairing doesn't seem commercially viable anymore. Sure, they had milestone films together (DDLJ, KKHH, KKKG, etc.) but then My Name is Khan and Dilwale cooled off the chemistry from their earlier films. Do you find their pairing overrated? What do you think?

Nopes, they are not overrated for me. Dilwale was not their kind of film that do justice to their chemistry nor My Name Is Khan. Its not their kind of film but still their chemistry shines. They are most iconic romantic couple of BW just by throwing a few songs does not do justice to their chemistry & their position as iconic romantic couple. The film needs a full focus on them a true blue love story. Dilwale definitely not & My Name is Khan that film is different & experimental. For me their chemistry is still as beautiful as it was. All they need a mature love story not something like Dilwale & My Name is Khan

I actually have never been a fan of them. In kkhh I loved kajol with salman. But I actually liked them in Diwale and after that I have been loving their off screen chemistry. I think a mature story will be good with them in it

I think their jodi worked because of script. K3G SRK-Kajol are iconic for me. their peak chemistry in this one.

but then look at dilwale. so its not the jodi. its the movie.

They are one jodi based on script give them a good script & intense writing the chemistry will be iconic as they are known for in BW all over the globe. Give them crap like Dilwale the chemistry is there but one will not get the iconic feel. My Name Is Khan is a different experimental film thus i don't see it as a jodi but the story & performance they were top notch in it
