I agree to what you are saying to a certain extent but I think this subtle change in Zoya is consistent with her character. Earlier, she used to talk back and sometimes to the point of being rude with Asad but since he saved her life from the kidnappers, she has started respecting him more. She has also figured out why Asad is 'Mr Grumpy' and also realizes that he is otherwise a good man. I think that's why she doesn't always give it back to him. To her credit, she still does what she has to do. She hasn't compromised on her actions or principles. She has just toned down her rhetoric because she understands Asad better than before. On the other hand, Asad doesn't respect her as much as she deserves. I think this Mangalpur incident will change that also. Once he knows what she did for Mariam, he will not be such a big chauvinist.

Zoya isnt losing her spark ...she's the same old Zoya ...bt its jst tht she gts so dazzled by Asad's personality & gudluks tht she finds herself dumbstruck in frnt of him !...She gts her voice bck only when he's nt around . Actually this happns with boys a lot ...u see a pretty girl ..u find yrself dumbstruck around her & strt doi'n things which u wudn't 've done normally !!!...Zoya is doi'n the same ...she strts cleaning Asad's cups & stuff even though she herself isn't such a cleaniless freak ! Bt I think this daze of hers will wear off once the luv track begins & she's more comfy around him ...

Very interesting take... I too am a feminist to a certain extent and always fight for womens rights...but dont you think Zoya seems to be behaving very unnaturally and irresponsibly? She is constantly interfering and meddling in personal matters. Not once has she achieved any success and except for causing embarrassment she has managed nothing! She has such a weird reason for refusing to marry Akram...why couldnt she fight her sister before? and now she is being so holier than thou to Asads cousin! I cannot understand this behaviour!

Asad was right at most of the points Zoya might have helped the girl but she has cretaed more troubles for all ...as Asad said she shd hav talked to him or told him atleast before...Zoya do what she thinks is right ...she doesnt acts Maturely as she was not getting the sarcasm of the Cop Asad was protecting her and himself and she was adamant and was telling again and again abt the run away bride...Asad was calm and used his brain he was not that much angry as much he gets normally but Zoya was more impatient and stubborn and was fightung with every man not knowing the situation she is amaxing at heart bt shd use her brain a bit more too
