This is so painfull 😭 God help this family. The compesation cannot bring Jyoti. Hope her mother becomes normal again. I dont want the sick momsters to get hanged i want them to be beaten in public and be tortured the way Jyoti was totured but there halat should be even worse

God help India. Life for girls are getting more dangerous everyday

The govt should punish all the 11/12 criminals severely in order to get a clear message out that who ever commits this crime will be dealt with an iron hand.

Or maybe it's just me. given all the negative mindsets of people in influential positions, tainting the mother's account with such subtle inferences, can undermine the girl's fight for justice. Another thing which annoys me is that the juvenile's name is still withheld but the girl's name is now an open secret.

Similarly, another daily actually printed her dying statement to police detailing the sequence of actions post her boarding the bus. Do we really need to know such details? Would things really change in the judiciary system and lethargic political machinery? or will we be condemned to see a slow corrosion and death of public trust in the legal course of action? I sincerely hope the latter does not come true.

I agree with u... why does the article emphasis on how she switched over from traditional to modern wear clothes..what has it got to do with what happened to her anyway??? There is no excuse for rape!! ITs sad that she is gone but her killers are still alive and safe in jail!!

Sad to read about the other rape incident..After such a national outrage Im disappointed and angry that such an incident has happened again and is still happening!!
