Madhu did say...she is a simple girl and can live with ordinary pleasures. Anyways her character is like that.

Re, the second part...Initially the entire forum was demanding of CVs or rather questioning of RK, as to how could he the superstar who can afford multiple homes, why doesn't he leave the scum of Bhatias, Dipali in RK Mansion and him stay in altogether new apt. This was when Dips used to barge into his room as if it was a dharamshala and not his pvt space.

So that leaving to a new home seems, CVs are pleasing the viewers by trying to show that indeed RK is capable of thinking like that when he has a purpose, albeit they are serving this desire with a twist so that all this can fail and they cam continue to keep their RK Mansion set. 😆 And thiking maturedly, Madhu and RK need to begin their conjugal life and with that experience of couple of years with a kid involved, they would be able to create the required bubble in their life.

Lets see how the CVs want to progress with this couple.

IMO, the plot is definitely within city limits because RK was able to drive his Biwi to the plot in the night, with night still present. My only question, where in Mumbai, one can find residential space where they could drive to in such fashion. Madhuri after returning from US was scouting for an apt for almost an year to find a bigger apt for her sons and husband to habitate them...well they must have got used to large house in US...and so definitely her hubby and kids would have felt cramped in small but Expensive Mumbai Apts 😆. All these present day stars end up taking Apts in Mumbai...the space was available only until 80's I guess. That's why AB has his independent house like RK (Rajesh Khanna) had.

Thank you Savz. 😊 No, I am not into writing. I was a literature student and left it after Masters, never went back to it. Since last year...2012, I am exploring myself again. However, instead of just reading the stories, I am more into analysis... I would really want to be become a good essayist. Yes, that's my ardent wish. To be an essayist, one needs to have the knowledge and the power to hold audience with the thought process...I read some essays...both Hindi and english...the impact is still fresh in my mind.

I was just chatting with Pooja on this. You are right...RK has not told us...and also the CVs intelligently showed it in the night so the place remains mysterious. So where exactlt he drove Madhu too. Seems the place is not far away from where he lives.

And Sona, re the American 19th Century Transcendalists...yes. True. Add to that the 18th to 19th Century English equivalents...the Pantheists which had poets like Wordsworth and Coleridge.

I was trying to figure out the plot size based on its plan. Seems the plot size is around 400sq yards. its looks more of a two bedroom design, just that for his children he split it into two rooms.

You know the layouts look small when only foundation is done, but after construction of the walls and ceiling, the space becomes wider.

Seems all of us...lost in the plot size, specifics and location...because I have been thinking on it ever since I watched the episode today 😆

I must say that today's episode was power packed and I loved every bit of it. RK-Madhu scene was very cute and both the actors were good in that scene and the CVs gave us a proper, passionate, tight hug when RK pulled Madhu on to him to hug her. That was a spontaneous hug with so full of emotions and I liked it.

Today Madhu was wise beyond her years and I was so happy to see her act so matured not once but twice at two different occasions. How thoughtful of her to remember RK's dad's rocking chair since he values that as his priced possession and cherishes the memories associated with it. She knows that he had kept the rocking chair and it's memories close to his heart and by calling his dad papa and telling him that they should leave the chair in the living room she acknowledged the fact that she equally respects his feelings and values the things that are important to him . RK was emotional and gave her a tight hug considering how thoughtful, sweet and innocent she is and also with the knowledge that he had made the right decision to leave everything and everyone that had caused pain and discomfort behind only to be with his true love Madhu, who has filled his life with pleasant feelings of love, care and trust and will continue to do so. That was an aaww moment for me and I so wanted everything to work out in their favor knowing fully well that is not going to be the case with Ballu lurking around the corner and waiting to strike Madhu. I fear for RK more than Madhu because the man has already gone through hell in his life and if at this point in time he were to loose his Madhu who is his lifeline, his beacon shining so brightly with the promise of bringing happiness and joy in his foreseeable future, he would either go into a self destructive mode or would turn into a merciless torturer of that person who harmed him by harming her.

I liked the fact that the CVs gave a closure to Padmini's shaadi ki nishani from her marriage to Ballu and I also loved the touch where they made Madhu as the one calming her mother and assuring her that she is entitled to her share of happiness and joy and she can only achieve that by letting go off her past which did nothing but burden her and pain her. I loved the symbolism where Padmini said that it emotionally pains her to remove her mangalsutra and it literally hurts her to remove it from her neck. We were then shown the flashback of Padmini with Madhu in her womb being treated so harshly by Balraj and it almost felt that the baby had went through the pain and suffering that the mother went through and even in its womb it might have developed the determination to avenge her mother's pain by stripping the torturer of his powers, his ability to hurt a pregnant woman mercilessly. Thanks to my late grandma I was reminded of the epic Mahabharata where Abhimanyu's education began while he was still in Subhadra's womb and was relating that to Madhu when she was in Padmini's womb.

Precap was interesting because how on earth Ballu managed to get into RK mansion and that too was planning an attack on Madhu in plain sight. We all know that he will be unsuccessful in this attempt but he would never stop until his last breath since he has taken a oath on his mother's ashes. I hate the news outlets which initially said that Ballu will shoot Madhu and now they are saying that Padmini will shoot Ballu durig his failed attempt to kill Madhu who will be saved by RK at the nick of time.

But kya karen, aadat se majoboor hoon, ki I have to add my two cents😆

I'm already worrying about what will happen when the MU takes place, given that yesterday was such an emotional high
On a macro level, yesterday's discussion got me thinking ...thanks to SD for starting this thought process...did Rishbala meet on that fateful accident day, to fulfill their destiny as a couple or to fulfill her destiny as a star?? I know that this difference can be tweaked acc to the requirements of the serial, acc to viewer's expectations or TRPs...but very interesting to mull over.

Shri, RK didn't take Madhu to the actual plot.😊

He almost definitely took her to a set because even in the dim lighting, the set backdrops were visible.

And he outright told Madhu that what he was showing her was just a layout map of their new home.😳

Everyone's posts are so good! I'm almost afraid to add my two cents😆

I liked the RK/Madhu convo. But again, the undercurrents, if you think too deeply about it, like I do, are quite scary. The only thing that makes RK's life beautiful is Madhu? Beautiful sentiment, but again, what happens when there are quarrels? Every relationship has them. We saw how crazy RK went when Madhu would not talk to him- and that was a small thing. When she finds out that he was doing all this at Dipali's challenge? That's not a small misunderstanding. What happens then? I love the Rishbala romance of now, but lets be honest- the foundations are not very strong, especially on Madhu's end. She loves RK and she idolizes RK, but how much does she understand him? For that matter, how much does RK really understand Madhu? He did after all let himself get swept up in his insecurities-we can say it was all from his end, but the fact that he continued the entire thing without telling her upfront about Dipali does imply a lack of trust.

RK and Madhu are each others passions, each others obsessions. There is no room for anyone or anything else in the relationship and that will continue going forward I am sure, even when Madhu becomes a star. But like I said, they are also each other's greatest weakness and worst enemy because the hurt they can inflict on one another, even unknowingly is quite staggering to watch.

Getting to Padmini- that was such a powerful, emotional scene. I'm studying up on women's rights as part of my masters and one of the things that struck me was this statistic: a domestic abuse victim tries to leave their abuser at least 7 times before actual intervention or in the worst case scenario, death. With that in mind, I can understand Padmini's fear and her release when she finally let go of that mangalsutra. What bound her to Balraj was almost as powerful as what binds RK and Madhu, though it was a bond of fear and hate. And it's not snapped from his end. Infact, it's probably intensified.

Scary times ahead peeps, but that's what keeps the show interesting right?😉
