mujhe nahi lagta ki serai main colour discrimination dekhai hai.unhone yehi dekhaya hai ki colour se jyada person ke gun dekhne chahiye.shubra ko sunder dikhya per woh achhi nahi hai saloni ko sawala roop hone ke baad bhi guni hone ke karan uski shaadi hui .aur ek nahi do ladke diwaane the uske gun ke karan.kaki use jaan ker neecha dekhati thi ki woh use bhagana chahti thi .waise bhi mujhe nahi lagta india main colour discrimination hai.

well i think color discrimination really sucks...i am a pakistani but i am not THAT fair...and my dad's side family all the girls are fair...i have a brother who is fair...and when we were little...my brother was the laadla in the whole family...when my mum tells me that my dad's family never really gave me the attention...first it hurt me...and especially when your own ppl call u AREH TU TO KALI HAI? TU KALA? i felt very bad...but now that i am bit older i think...Hum kaale hai to kiya huwa dilwaale hain 😛 I don't listen anymore to them...and i am really happy that i have this colour...first i cried a lot about it...but then i realised that i am going against God...but now i always say dont look at the outside but always look at the inside... 😊 What God has given to you you must except it with ur whole heart...
By the way this is a great topic... 😊

One of my best friend is very dark but she is one of the prettiest person you will see. I have gori girls at work that go tanning and are darker than me. And they love it.( and i'm not that fair). And some of my co-workers say it must be great to have a tan 365 days a year. 😉

To wish you were someone else is to waste the person you are.

People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in their true beauty is revealed only if there is light from within. ~Elisabeth Kbler-Ross

I have also dealt with color discrimination.
As I have a dark complexion, I always had to listen to bakwaas from some people (from children at school, from family members). But all those comments has made my personality much more stronger. Today I'm in a better position than all those people who made nasty comments to me.
Also I have a boyfriend with fair complexion, he and his family have no problem with me at all.
When my father chose my mother to marry with she also had to listen to comments from her mother in law. But in the end my parents love for each other won.

I think skin color is just a part of your being. God has made all of us, so whether you are fair or dark colored, the most important thing is according to me that you have a beautiful heart and to be a nice human being.

i've noticed that indian ppl notice the fairness and darkness more than others. We are more likely to get color discrimination from our own family than neone else. And that is truly sad... 😭
